And then I bought them on DVD, and now that blu-ray is out, they'll be bought there too. Also, as the new technologies come out, their more expensive than the previous ones ever were. yeah....i have a massive VHS collection that's useless now.......i don't really want to watch them, 'cuz they'll wear out.

oh well........now my DVD collection is huge and that's going to be obsolete in a few years if it keeps up this way.........

DVD's have become so reasonably priced nowadays (well, I only shop for the $5 ones @ BB brand new, otherwise eBay is my go-to place for any media).
You can find Blu-ray's reasonably priced on eBay, you just gotta watch for their condition and what inserts they come with.
