Doing some checking on the releases of some of these songs.

Most of the stuff for my '85-'89 isn't actually as horrible as I thought it would be.

It's 1990 that I'm worried about. :erm:

I hit a real low point in musical taste for that one year.

It was my first year of high school. :p

I'd prefer 1990 - 94. That's when I discovered NIN (Broken) Ministry (Psalm 69) White Zombie (La Sexersisto) etc. All that industrial stuff.

I'm having trouble with 85-89. I'm only including things I'm absolutely sure about and dismissing stuff I may not have heard until the 90's.
My memory took some years of abuse during those middle teens that it's making things fuzzy. :-P

'90-94 is going to be good for me too.

If it just weren't for 1990 :(....but I'd have to include it because....well....it's funny. :D

Keeping it down to 60-65 minutes is proving to be quite difficult.

Normally, I would cut out the not so great stuff and leave in the best.

I wasn't into film score music back then so it's all just band stuff and some cheesy hair metal that I laughed at hearing again. I recommend skipping those ones. :laugh:

They're one of my favorite bands. I loved that they used them in Ironman movies and they really should have had War Machine in the actual movie and not just the trailer.

I have a lot of AC/DC on my mp3 player. Big Balls is so much fun. It's a regular drunken sing-a-long at weekends. :laugh:

Cuckoo, I watched Devil. It was okay. :D Cameraman does some cool work in the first ten minutes and the actors were solid. There was one thing I didn't understand so let me know when you get around to to it because maybe you can explain it to me. it wasn't plot, it was a visual thing.

I vote that whenever Hollywood makes an adaptation be it a remake of an older film, a remake of a foreign film, an adaptation of a comic book or manga, or a live action based off of a cartoon or anime instead of butchering it with a white washed cast, black guy thrown in and a British villain just make it with Muppets. With some exceptions they're culturally ambiguous and you don't have to pay the big bucks for a Will Smith or jack Nicholson.

Yours was amazingly well put together. The film dialogue between songs was perfect. And there was daffy duck. I think it was a success. Plus it gave me the whole Lost Boys nostalgia trip which I'm grateful for. :-P

Well it turns out I didn't have Fallow that Bird but Big Bird Goes to China so I watched that instead and Big Bird is very winy in it. Also I was kinda dozing and things kinda got weird and I don't think Big Bird even accomplished what he set out to do which was find the Phoenix. mean while the only subplot was Oscar bullying Telle into slave labor so they could dig their way to china and upon finally emerging outside of the forbidden city Oscar makes them turn back right away. This is a Sesame Street special from the 80s so Big Bird had Barkly with him. In one particular Scene they're riding in a motorbike with passenger car and Big Bird is driving it. I'm kinda confused, is Big Bird not a little kid? How does he get to drive?
One cool thing is the fact that the credits at the beginning are both in English as well as one of the chinese dialects so this was most likely a joint production with Henson and a chinese studio. Over all this was a pretty boring movie but the funniest thing in is was the fact that Big Bird kept calling English "American" and was complaining how he wish everyone would just speak English.

The paint for Monkey King was also pretty good.

:laugh: I did the very same thing with the film review. I cut loads so had to rearrange and shit. That's how I usually work but that one was total chaos. I'm guessing Shinya Tsukamoto did the same with the film. My review was all over the place, too. I secretly liked how it defied categorisation and was so damn schizophrenic.
