One should not have to ever turn off one's brain. Between the humans, the characters who are in for 2 seconds a piece, and all of the threats which are BEYOND minimized, it is a travesty.

Bay not only assumed that viewers would read the prequel comics and novel, but also the months of leaked info prior to its release.

I played bought and played SH1 first...got hooked, could not find the other games for sale but found SH3 for rent played it, loved it started downloading the music, graphics and anything else I could find. I was lucky and found SH2 at my local pawnshop and bought it for 3.00. :) I beat the game and gained a 4 star level and got the chainsaw on the next time played which I am currently in the middle of.

I think 4 was the most immersive of all of them...because it all takes place from this tiny apartment, and that's also where I was playing the game...

It was pretty creepy. Plus I played that game for 8 hours straight (10pm-6am), so it messed me up something good.

A lot of people dislike 4 for being so different, but I adore it. The subtle connections to 2 don't hurt either ;)
