loloops. Yeah, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
Still Nic Cage, but everyone else has changed.
Daredevil Director will not be returning to this project.
I didn't enjoy Daredevil either. And Elektra? It was worse. I think it may be the worst one of all.
Some good ones in defence of the genre: Hellboy, Spiderman, X Men, Iron Man, The Crow (does it count?).

My good ones would be : Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, SPider-man 2, Hellboy I & II, Hulk (Bana & Norton), X-men I, Watchmen and I have a soft-spot for the first live action TMNT.
I'd go into animated superhero movies but that'd take too long.

LOL I liked DD, and somewhat okay with Elektra, but would rather watch DD instead. Also have that on blu-ray too.
Some good ones in defence of the genre: Hellboy, Spiderman, X Men, Iron Man, The Crow (does it count?).
I think for all those we could do with just the first ones.
I didn't really enjoy Hellboy 2 as much as I wanted to. The villains all had the same face as if they're from Lord of the Rings or Buffy or some other show where the faces are virtually the same. Almost had a Rise of the Lych King feel to it too.
(That and I was going through some really tough times so part 2 brings back those bad memories of that time:()
I really liked Spiderman 1, music included. Didn't feel so much for the later ones, and the scores for thems weren't up to par with the opening and end credits of the first movie alone.
Same for X-Men and The Crow.
Ironman, I can watch 2 more than the sequels to the other movies.
Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Watchmen and I have a soft-spot for the first live action TMNT..
This as well, espeically for the Nolan/Burton Batmans.

As much as I like Mark Ruffalo, I REALLY the Hulk rumors were true that Sharlto Copley was cast instead.
Ever done the falling-asleep as you're fapping....fapping?
It's like sleeping through Algebra, except every time you startle you see porn instead of meaningless equations. Smile, instead of groan.
There's some similarities between Hajime and Heather going on, which I can only see now since it's the first time I'm playing 3 since watching Blade. This might get capitalized on in the second movie. If not, that's okay, too, because there's plenty of value in the ending of the movie, on its own.

I, Robot (pretty good)

A lot of the serving hosts have changed their ways now.
Using JDownlaoder,
RS makes you wait for about 3 HOURS in between files. It used to be only around 10-30min.
FileServe has a waiting time of about ~20min now inbetween files, even if the connection is lost or an error occurs :/
Netload is still slow as ever.
Megaupload and FileSonic are about the best bets these days for large movies.
And Wupload is gaining popularity, but I think it leeches off of Megaupload, there always seems to be a waiting period if one of the two are going ???
And x7to is pretty good too, it's realiable and supports resumable downloads. The waiting time is still the same, about 20min.
Megaupload, FileSonic, x7to and Wupload all support resumable downloads, so that's tops in my books.

Spoony was speaking highly of Silent Hill ^__^ Said he couldn't really judge Downpour's demo because it's hard to get immersed in a surface-of-the-sun-bright room with 2000 people, but he really liked the direction they were going with using rain as the motif.
Said he even kind of liked Homecoming (although I remember him bitching quite a bit) despite being too easy.

Is it worth watching? It's downloading now... I'm not sure why though :erm:
I really like the scenery in the trailers, the surreal colors to it.
It's fun. Not really anything to give you a lot to think about or attach yourself to.....but it's not meant to do that. It's meant to let you escape like a kid watching a cartoon again.....a cartoon with girls in skimpy outfits, big guns and kicking ass.......and dragons.
Doc will hate it. :p
I've downloaded it last week to watch again. Plus Emily Browning's in it and it reminds me of Mental. :D

I downloaded it in 1080p and watching it in stunning 1080p right now. Going to convert it later to DVD.
So far I really like the visuals, just don't care much for dialogue. I mean it can be a silent movie with sfx and music in it and I'd still watch it.
It reminds me of Kurt Russell in Soldier where he didn't have many lines (aside from "sir").
I really love EB's version of Sweet Dreams.
And I only know of her name because of the soundtrack lol (which is about the only track I like too).

One peeve I've got about this movie is the music. Too much slow motion regular music (where the original versions have been overused so much in other movies) and not enough Bates.

Victorious Titus got ripped off by Bates in 300.
Returns a King got ripped off by Kaveh Cohen & Michael Nielsen for the X-Men Origins trailer.
Legend had a remix or two by Kaveh Cohen & Michael Nielsen.

Henry Rollins needs to be a Kamen Rider. I spent all of last night watching his stand-up. Always seems to be more uploaded on the tube every time I get a hankering.
Can totally hear him say Henshin in my head. Sounds a little like him as Kilowog. XD
I'll watch it. I have a weakness for superhero movies. I did draw the line at FF : Rise of the SS. The first one was arse paper so I didn't try the second.
Me too. Even when I think something looks terrible and I loudly proclaim that I am never watching it (coincidentally I am also thinking of the second FF here) I wind up renting it. I think it's that I really like action movies but most of them try so hard to be cool and serious and comic books are so inherently goofy that they rarely lose their sense of fun. The percentage of comic movies that are genuinely good is not too bad and that ones that are entertaining in spite of not being all that great are even more plentiful.
I mean, Thor wasn't the greatest thing in the world but I had fun at the theater and I have had fun bitching about the lack of Balder since (seriously why no Balder). I expect to have a similar experience with GL and Captain America. I'll probably just rent First Class. So so excited for TDKR and The Avengers. ^___^
Ghost Rider...haven't read the comics, only had one ever. Really fancy shiny cover!
I haven't read a huge amount of Ghost Rider, but the only stuff that's really appealed to me is stuff with Skinbender. Somehow I managed not to be much of a fan of the character at all and yet a huge fan of once of his D-List villains. If they ever stick her in a movie I will go see it day one. And she better look as terrifying as she does in my mind and not just be played by a swimsuit model or something.
I've not seen TMNT since it came out. I have some of the original comics from back in the day. They were cool, much better than the cartoon.
I think I'm the only DD hater in here. I love the character and the comics, just didn't take to the film.
I'd actually really recommend the CG TMNT movie from a few years back, and not just because SMG was April O'Neil. It was a good, fun movie and I'm sad it wasn't more of a success. I also liked the 2000's TMNT cartoon. I love the original cartoon and movies on the basis of nostalgia alone, but they didn't age that well, even if I will say COWABUNGA and jam to Ninja Rap until the day I die.
I really didn't like the Daredevil movie at all. For a long time I thought that it was because I just hadn't read many Daredevil comics, but my love for Iron Man shut that theory down. It was just...much less entertaining than it had any right to be.

When my gif making capabilities are restored I will totally make it into a gif. ^^ It's not as great without the music, though.
There are lots of male characters who would be great for Halloween costumes but I'm not sure how much you like any of them. ; ; Date from OOO, Mike J. Nelson (Joel would be good too), black t-shirt + jeans Superboy (ridiculously 90's Superboy would be awesome but way more work), Calvin and Hobbes (bonus points for pretending a stuffed tiger is real all night), Lloyd Dobler, Lane Meyer with all the q-tips (you will know someone is awesome if they yell TWO DOLLARS), Finn, \ce King, pretty much anyone from Adventure Time. My secondary costume choice is Marceline.

The James storyline is the worst thing ever. It was seriously painful watching that for a while.
I've heard what happened is that Lynch was pretty much forced to carry things on for a while after Laura's killer was revealed? And then the show got canceled and he got to do the spectacular end game stuff. It really does get good again but skipping all the awfulness in between is not a bad idea.

He never intended to reveal the killer in the first place. He wanted to let that case fade into the background. Which I'm not sure what I think of that either.
He and Mark Frost have talked about some story arcs in Season Three had it happened. Mostly about BOB and The Black Lodge. In a way, I think Lynch and Frost intended the Series Finale to only be a a season finale. I think it works perfectly as a series finale though.
Do you own the Gold Box? It's got some great special features.
Mostly the feature length documentary and a interview with Lynch, SHelly, Cooper and a crew member on the show at some bar.
When I first watched the interview, I thought Coop was Sawyer from LOST (the hair and glasses). I kid you not. He looked like him. It took me a few minutes to go figure it out..........then I felt really stupid. :p

I don't own it! I'll look into picking it up, because both Twin Peaks and special features are pretty relevant to my interests.
Ultimately I would've been okay with them never revealing the killer if the stories had still stayed good. I like endlessly speculating about things more than I like an unsatisfactory solution, although I think the Laura's killer reveal is quite satisfying. I have to wonder what would get Cooper to lose the drive to solve the case. Feels like it could be a pretty interesting story.
superboy sounds easy but like, i'd rather it be a character i read, you know? (what does 90s superboy look like?). i have no idea who the rest of the characters are, except calvin and hobbes. finn from glee?
Superboy in the 90's was RIDICULOUS looking and I loved it.
Around that time he was written as this doofus who endlessly reminded people that he had tactile telekinesis. It was a lot of fun, and it was even more fun to see him grow up and mature into a pretty awesome hero in an authentic feeling way. He's pretty sheepish about his past look now when confronted with it.
And yeah, being a character that you genuinely love is part of the fun! I was just throwing out doable costumes on the off chance you liked one of them. ;) Dr. Doofenshmirtz is pretty doable! Well, sans Agent P, most of the P&F cast is. I just don't know how fun the boys would be to dress as, even though their look did once rock the fashion world~
I meant Finn from Adventure Time. There are tutorials for making his hat all over the internet.

Don't know how I missed this part of the post before.
The CG TMNT was great. It was one of my most anticipated films of whatever year it came out. I like how it sort of ran with the continuity of the live action films.
Im going to watch T&J tonight, found a 2hour thing on youtube!!!

One of THE best.
The best was when Tom hurt Jerry.
Like slamming him in the inside of a book or wailing him with a frying pan.
Jerry deserved so much more in the ways of pain and suffering.
