I haven't really enjoyed a lot of his stuff as of recent which is a shame.

He had a really unique voice that just got too repetitive after awhile.

Same here, actually. it's just that the concept made me curious. And as I already make a lot of pizzas by myself, I thought this would be entertaining to do next summer. the rest ranges from meh to gross from my point of view. Add to that that I don't like alcohol for my own personnal reasons (my thought process is messed up enough when I'm sober, it tend to become completely fucked up when I'm drunk. that and it seems I tend to get violent much too easy while drunk. I'll stick to my "two pints and a half" of guiness per party.

as for role models, I never had a role model. because one way or another, they always end up disappointing you. whether they're real or fictional characters. Only model I got is me. I do things my own way, and I don't give a fuck to what others would say. That's probably why teachers back in high school and University annoyed me about having method issues. fuck'em. my method worked for me. It's all that mattered. what angered them is probably that my method looked chaotic and overly disordered to them, yet it still worked. You should have seen the fits my english teachers had when I started to translate freely, without analyzing the effin sentence and over-thinking the context and meaning, and yet I obtained a better translation than most, in less time and that did not sound as a word for word translation.

I said it already, fuck them, fuck method and fuck being organised. if the chaos of my mind works for me, then I'm a happy guy. if not, either I fucked up along the way, or I tried to follow other people's advice and opinions on "how to do".

And, by the time these vid games got very involved and cool, I was grown up and pretty non-interested.

It seems to be half vbulletin, half the hosting sites' fault. Some sites won't allow links to work without having a link to the site itself in them. You can pull that out of imageshack codes, but not Pimpandhost ones, from what I've seen. Since links can't usually be seen, I imagine a link being embedded in the pics prevents the entire shebang from showing.

Video games are wonderful escapism. You're missing out. Especially SNES era. Shit's like Soul Food or something. Of course, that's probably only for those of us who were young at the time.

Don't ditch the Genesis (or as it was called here, the Megadrive.). It may not have been as powerful nor as well conceived as the SNES, but their were a lot of good games on it. Legend of Oasis, Streets of Rage 1&2, Shining Force 2. yet I'll give you that, my favorite adventure games are all SNES/Super Famicom material: Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, and my favorite, discovered through emulation : Lufia 2. I loved that game.

Although, if you do decide to try 'em out, all the best from the PS2 and below era will be well within acceptable price range :) I generally make it a rule to wait at least a year after a game releases to buy it (this year being the exception), that way I'm not spending an arm and a leg for it. Help! The boards just went down a while ago. Someone, anyone, please do something about this even though you just did! I began making this post at 6:45PM and will finish typing this at approximately 6:48PM. The boards were revived at 6:44. XIII-2 Demo comes out next week!

I'd like to at least know how in-depth this Pokemon bullshit is. Then I just think about X-2 and want to say FUCK IT ALL. I don't really have an inclination to buy it. Even if I've said shit like this in the past and ended up getting stuff, anyway.

Oh, and JJ, I've tried taking out the link coding in pimpandhost images and it's usually failed. I'll try that next I'm using it, though. Since I wouldn't want those links to be there even if they didn't affect outside viewing.

There just aren't that many games this year I have my eyes set on yet, but XIII-2 is a definite yes. 2011 was probably my most active gaming year ever, mostly because the quality in games was just at a seeming surplus. Rage disappointed many, but it made me a happy customer ^^ 60fps over the most lush, detailed landscape I think I've ever beheld in a game is a great way to override most other shortcomings. Gears of War III hit the mark, too, as did Portal 2, Zelda 3DS, Zelda: Skyward Sword, Skyrim, Dragon Age II, the list goes on. I'm excited for the FFX remake (though it's hardly gonna be a full remake in the literal sense; anti-aliasing, bonus dungeon or three, bam), and for the Vita, because I seem to play best on handhelds and PCs these days. I can play Left 4 Dead on PC, but on Xbox360 my coordination is just off. But strangely it's not like that with all games. HANDHELDS FTW ^^

Honestly, if it was as fun to play as X-2 was for me I think I could forgive it anything. It'll probably go on my to-buy list if it's got a solid battle system but I can't see myself buying it anytime soon.

I love Four Loko, and I like Jack, but there's no way I'd ever pour it over food willy-nilly. That aspect has always made me cringe a bit. I did GW miniatures, and a few WW2 models, I stopped after getting bored of gluing my fingers together instead of the ridiculously small part of the models, and I'm very attached to RPGs, but it's mainly because it more or less saved me from suicide. As for religion...I just believe in god. nothing more. no church, no prayers (well, almost none), no religious paraphernalia (except a nifty edition of the Revelations, always handy as a game aid). The simple fact of believing AND living in what I deem to be a "good" way is enough for me.

Doc..Pay Per View is a cable thing. You order a movie and they charge you on your bill. Most new releases are 4 to 5 dollars. You get the movie for 24 hours, so if ya liked it a bunch, you could in theory watch it back to back to back.

Most of the movies hit in the same-ish time as in the stores. Upside is not having to go out to get it or return it, and no cash upfront. Downside is very few are in widescreen. They do have a hi def section though.

Perfect for shut-ins like me....

I wanted to film with both to make a 3D video of myself.

...however....they both suck really bad >.<
The laptop makes everything green (cus i have energy saving bulbs in my room) and the mp3 camera is about 1.2megapixels.... >.>

On a side note, got a temp computer and had to fix everything.
So many security flaws in it. The software was utter crap. It wasn't even partitioned, motherofgod.
And, apparently, the previous owner is a "computer professional"... :rolleyes:

I just took a shit on it and then emailed a pic to the previous owner and captioned it: "if this was your child, nothing would've changed. the end."

So I uninstalled everything, put in good stuff, tweaked the hell out of it, partitioned, defragged and now it's one of 5 computers I worked on that are now in the "Jesus" status. (as in... "Jesus, this thing is a lot faster than before. And more [stable]! (sic)")

I've also been tracking a lot of software lately, it seems all the good ones have been going through multiple updates and bug fixes. :awsm:

Still trying to learn to compile from source so I can go back to open-source programs and improve them with updated plugins and whatnot.
Also trying to learn some reverse engineering too for the simpler programs that could use updates.

And I've gotten into a little more 3D playing and continue to search for the ultimate 3D thrill at home.
And as of the experiment with 2 cameras horribly failing, I am now looking into stuff to tweak my webcam so I can get rid of the green Matrix-y (Neg's Bat-Symbol-spotlight) color tone.

And then playing around with some custom lighting too... I got a desk lamp and a horrible flashlight from the dollar store.

I subscribed to thread so I have some reading material :smrt: :erm: :laugh: should've known better than to make it weekly subscriptions :ashine:

Miss you all, and still think of you guys where it's most inappropriate timing (like a true STS-er).

If I master the custom 3D video, I'll surely upload and post here first.
Using youtube's shifty 3D uploading... (let's you choose your own 3D format... anaglyph, interlaced, side-by-side, over-under, etc)
(side-by-side is good for the "cross-eyed" method. But needs lots of practice for motion video)

As today kicks the new year off, all of us at Intrada are already knee deep in projects. To be honest, what we have lined up this year is the most ambitious slate we've attempted in our 26-year history. Hopefully there will be something for everyone. Look for some pretty sensational releases coming courtesy our partnership with Disney. In fact, projects with virtually every major studio are now under way... including a milestone new series with one of them. Look for classic recordings you thought you'd never see available. More details on that soon! Even something in the Excalibur series. Just loads of releases for you to choose from. I can't expect you to support them all... but hopefully there are numerous new things coming from us that will tickle your fancy throughout 2012.

And so, with lots of excitement for Intrada ahead, and knowing that numerous other soundtrack labels will be abundant with cool releases... may this new year bring forth musical joy to us all.

Another Dr. Seuss film, another Ice Age film....maybe......Horton was pretty decent.....

He might do some good stuff for Seuss' The Lorax as well.

Although, what I'm looking forward to is his score for Rise Of The Guardians (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1446192/).

It seems like it has potential to be pretty wild.

Plus with Guillermo Del Toro producing, it's sure to be a fun animated fun with an extra something for "woompht".
