Been at it for nearly 12 hours trying to get 'Raiders 1 - 4 playable on my Mac. It's the kind of thing where you KNOW if you had the required files you could probably make it work, and you locate all but one. And I love how every website you look up for platform info just says "released on Windows 9X" without specifying WHICH ONE. I have a Windows 95 ISO, but without a DOS bootdisc to jumpstart the install, it might as well be a digital representation of horse feces. Of course, there also just HAD to be two versions of that- one with CD Drive support and one without (thus useless) that support.

Saw a clip of all the folks who caught a sneak preview of Cabin In The WOods.

They were all stoked.

What kept coming up was "the trailers reveal ABSOLUTELY nothing", "completely unexpected" and comparisons to "Scream".

Now I am the serious excites.

Been waiting TOO damned long for this.

Man ^_______^ I hope it's a big success and Whedon does more horror films, I'm so excited.

Step 1 - Obtain your picture~ Best way is to play your vid, then pause and crtl+prt sc for a screen cap. Save your pic in paint or something of the like. IMPORTANT! - DO NOT SAVE IT AS JPG. If you are grabbing the image from a dvd that means that your saved image is going to be relatively small irl. It will need to be enlarged for a good space on the shirt. In this case, save the pic as a png, bmp, or tif (or all three just in case....). If you have a source available that is in a larger scale ie 720/1080 then the largest you can get will be preferred so the enlarging will not be as fuzzy if it needs to be enlarged at all.

Step 2 - Cutting out the pic~ (if you want/decide to, you could give you pic to me and I can cut it out for you~) If you don't have a good program for this kind of thing, there's always gimp to try. Take the tool that makes dotted lines and carefully point and click all around Data's face, then cut it out. Paste it in a new layer, delete the old layer, save as a png of gif. (this is important)

Step 3 - Supplies~ Of course you will need your shirt (white is always best, but for how light Data's face is black just might work maybe/ getting one from the craft store is best because they are already the proper fiber blends for such things), you will need an iron, an ink jet printer, and iron on transfer paper that you can find at any craft store. If you want the pic to stay in it's original orientation, then you will need to flip Data's face backward (the image comes out reversed when transferred to the shirt). Print out Data on the transfer paper, then follow the papers instructions to properly iron it on.

They're re-scanning the original film negatives to produce a natively high-def image, and taking the time to colour correct everything. So no more pink and mustard uniforms. And as to the VFX shots, those were ALSO done on film. Multiple passes of models being lit in different ways and then composited into a single seamless shot. Since they have the original film negatives of these shots as well, they are ALSO able to be re-scanned and converted into native high-def. There's no George Lucasing going on here.

No, it was the bit about eidolons being shitty.

I never use them. I've used Odin 3 times and he sucked every time. Part of it is I maybe don't understand how to use them properly. When they leave I'm full of life but the stagger is lost. WTF?

I got (what I'm presuming) is my last one last night. Took me a few tries to figure out the strategy for that one.

You want to try to stagger an enemy alongside them, go gestalt, wail on them, and then use the eidolon's ultimate attack before the gauge runs out.

I immediately hopped onto his back and used his attacks. My brain said it would do more damage but it didn't. Where I am now is requiring lots of Libra action so once I have TP to spare, I'll give that a try. TY.

I'm at the base of the high tower (Shortly after getting Vanille's Eid) wherein some big ass monster lives; I'm guessing it's roosting at the top. I'll be going on the lift next time I play. Met loads of new monsters outside the tower and used up all my TP scanning them.

I did as many hunts as I could find. I think I got to 11. Spent ages trying to find more but no luck. So I moved on.

Save it. You'll be getting another expansion soon after the tower. I can teach you how to get the growth egg (doubles CP) then.

However, I do recommend doing some non-native stuff after you've maxed their main roles in that expansion, before you fight the final boss.

Save it now --> Expansion --> Growth Egg --> Max native roles --> level non-natives --> Final boss.

There's no rush on hunts. Post-game is explicitly for hunts. You'll be able to decimate a lot of them, then. Helps with 5 starring them.

When you get the expansion:

Dump all your cp into these roles:

Vanille: SAB
Snow: SEN
Hope: MED
