Doc Island is an old RPGA (Role Playing Game Association) module (adventure in other words) for Dungeons and Dragons, intended to be played in conventions. That's the main difference I think between French and US RPG convs. Here, the clubs that organise the conventions write the adventures and provide them to gamemasters willing to have only one hour to prepare their game session.

I never wrote so many words even when my grades depended on it. I didn't even bother with one research paper my senior year even though it was a huge part of the grade. I asked the teacher actually on the way to get my diploma if he fudged the books to pass me.

the filler was great because it created a large, intricate world. you learned about the various cultures and subgroups within those cultures.

I agree, I love that world building. And I felt like the filler almost always moved the story forward, which to me, makes it not really filler. There was some great character stuff and some powerful stuff about what it was like living in the Fire Kingdom in Ember Island Players. I wish Korra would get a bigger episode order so they had time for things like that.

Never thought of it that way.

The downside is that blogger only allows 5000 unique labels. When we hit that... we can still post but no more new labels. The new interface removed the ability to delete the same label from multiple posts at once so it has to be done more painstakingly. Was there an update for Chrome recently? Mine's been an ass the last couple days.
