Open display space inside a frame. We have one already that my grandfather used to hold pipes. It has a shelf in the middle, though. The entire front swings open. I'm going to try to find one. I'm not going to custom make the box/frame/whatever it's called, myself. It has to open, because the souls play sounds, and the discs can be viewed on a praxinoscope.


How much space do you have to fit this in?

I intend to clear wall space for it, specifically. I imagine it could be 2/2.5/3ft square, or so.

Had other mixes on it but I seemed to have a lot of "scary/gothic" remixes and decided to fly with that for a nicer flow.

I might be able to use some of the others "brighter" remixes I rejected for another volume coming up.

I haven't really watched the crossover movies mainly for the same reasons that I don't care about everyone. But I think to boldly flee is the most recent movie.

I thought Kickassia was decent. I knew enough about everyone's work, though, even if I wasn't super into most of them. So, you might have a point.

Suburban Knights was a mess, for my money. CM liked it, and someone else I used to talk to.

The brawl was fun. At the time I only knew of Spoony for VIII, but when he popped up I was like ZOMG IT'S SPOONY :awsm: Went and watched all his stuff, after that :laugh:

I swear there are time travel shenanigans going on today. 4 hours suddenly disappeared, and then when I came back downstairs it was suddenly 30 or so minutes earlier. I honestly thought maybe there was something wrong with my laptop battery at first but I checked more than one clock. ; ;

tbh most of my familiarity with Channel Awesome stuff comes from other people who talk about it. I did watch Kickassia. I have an unfair grudge against Linkara because the internet is full of people who don't read comics who try to have discussions on comics boards based on what they know from his videos. I like his Power Rangers stuff but he has some really awful fans.

Haven't kept up with TGWTG goings on for...I guess a few years now. I still watch a lot of Cinema Snob videos (vlogs/movie reviews/so on) when I see the updates on facebook (social networking works, guys) and still check out Spoony movie reviews, but that's really it. James Rolfe is still my favorite of the famous internets-reviewer guys, based on overall output. Dude seems super down to earth and his genuine passion for what he's doing and what he covers on his site is fairly obvious. I admire him on a similar level to Matt from X-E/Dinosaur Dracula. He loves so many of the same things that I do and has done a spectacular job making something of it/sharing it with people, so on. I could probably expand on that more but I'm lazy, guys. So so lazy.

I haven't seen his webcomics! Have seen some of his self-published books and comics because people really like to make fun of Linkara on /co/.

I'd say Nostalgia Chick has the best track record for me overall; good balance of jokes, opinions, and info.
Critic had the advantage of having the most content and being first to cover many different things in this fashion. Sometimes he's not as funny for me though but I enjoy it for the most part.
I like Linkara and have seen a few of the non Power ranger vids. But he also has the same not so funny problem that critic has at times.
I've seen a good chunk of Spoony stuff and he's a nice guy. Feels the least scripted.
JesusOtaku or whatever her name is is also cool by me. Seen a handful of her stuff including all the digimon stuff for some reason.
Marzgirl is OK but I'm not crazy about her. Maybe the voice that sounds like she's shouting or something.
Obscure Lupa might be fine along with that Mexican guy.
Everyone else is take or leave.

Keep in mind that I only watch something that I either have already seen or played or know that I don't care about enough to spoil.

It was weird seeing him talk regular and explain how he hand cut his master King Kong film reel after watching his angry swear videos. Though I think he's slowing down because there's just so many Nintendo games left int he world for him to review. Maybe he could switch to the happy video game nerd and play good games. Enjoyed the Ninja turtle month and loved the Pizza challenge. Though I was disappointed that he didn't go into the anime OVAs in depth.

I don't watch actual "Cinema Snob" reviews. On some level the horrible Z-grade movies certainly interest me but not enough to bother with reviews of them right now, funny or not. I check out their more vlog-ish stuff when I'm bored and in a time-wasting mood. Which is always.

I haven't paid much attention to the reviews by Mike on Cinemassacre so there hasn't been room for it to spoil anything for me. Since I'm not using it, my other theme idea was "Where we're from, the birds sing a pretty song and there's always music in the air." Was going to be songs that feature birds chirping. I actually have a ton of stuff that works for this, but nowhere near enough genres. Might do a mix like it for STS compilations, because I like the idea.

The other theme will be a little tricky, but should be broad enough that I can pull off all the genres.

Seems to work with everything so far.

Since I'm not using it, my other theme idea was "Where we're from, the birds sing a pretty song and there's always music in the air." Was going to be songs that feature birds chirping. I actually have a ton of stuff that works for this, but nowhere near enough genres. Might do a mix like it for STS compilations, because I like the idea.

The other theme will be a little tricky, but should be broad enough that I can pull off all the genres.

Perhaps I should have said versions. Seen several. On the ost's there is a choir one that I'm not sure of the language and an instrumental. Then the english one with Vic. Not sure if that was on any release or just as a single. Then the japan version. Now that I think about it, the spanish and german ones may have been fan-made, for what that is worth. :laugh:

Gai's helmet has a knot on the back, completing the bandana look. In his regular mode it isn't over his eyes. Slides down for Gold Mode. I'm totally fine with the helmet in both.

I knew it. I knew it. I was going to use Hymn to Red October, and then I thought to myself, Docrate will use it, so I need to find a different Russian tune.
Still surprised no else seems to have used Elvish. (I think. I'm not sure. I hope.)


Yeah, I know. you can see a cursor on the cover. don't what happened, it wasn't there originally...
It's not that noticeable. Until you look closely, it seems to belong there. I'm not sure how it could have happened either, unless some part of your process involved a screen shot. Still it looks pretty easy to remove if you want to update it.
One of my covers had the wrong volume number, which I found after I uploaded the cover but before I published the album.
There was much running and screaming to fix it.

I'm way behind too. :sad: I've listened to everyone's video game volumes. Most of the pumped volumes too, except for the newest ones. After that it starts to fall apart. :laugh: Think I've only listened to remixes from you and IU, and only Neg's languages. I'll catch up someday.

I have some stuff in Romani and it's pretty good but it's super long! Maybe on leftovers. I have a lot of stuff but none of it seems to fit with what I have at all. I might just wind up doing something that's all over the place. I'm really looking forward to listening to all of these! Really hoping Doc will participate because I'm super curious to see what he'd use. :D

To be completely honest, for a time this mix involved gangnam style (:laugh:) and, more seriously, Fremen, as I was planning to put the "Inama Nushif" song from Bryan Tyler's "Children Of Dune". Decided to keep it for another time. just as I had decided to keep "Te quiero puta" and "Hymn to the red october" for another time (the first nearly ended on the 30 songs mix, the second was on a draft on my still unfinished fake soundtrack. which, at this rate, will be the last volume I'll finish :laugh:

Rather than have to listen to what the theme says I have to listen to, I�m going to wait and listen to my shit as normal.
If I find something that will fit one of the themes I�ll drop it into a folder. When I have 10 in any one folder I�ll post them up. That way I won�t feel like I�m being dictated to and it�ll mean less of an influx every week. So mine will be out of sequence but I should get to most of them eventually. It's not like you don't have enough to listen to already.
