I read the Catcher in the Rye, but it didn't click with me at all. I found it kind of dull. Sure, it had it's moments, but overall I was underwhelmed. Thats all I know of him.

I loved Catcher in my high school years......I still read it every few years. I get a different general feeling about the character everytime i read it....i guess as I age, i see him in a different light, as Holden Caulfield never ages.

I also have "9 stories" and "Franny & Zooey"........if you don't like Catcher, you probably won't like these stories either.

I was working my way through the "subversive" section of the library, I read some classic stuff there, and it was a part of that. I read Hermann Hesse and William S. Burroughs before and after Catcher, so it was kind of dwarfed by those giants. I remember the ending, and a few set pieces but very little else. The memory isn't what it used to be when you get to the Doc's age. :(

I watched batman mystery of the batwoman and Burn After Reading because I had never seen it. I don't understand the hype. Planet Hulk the comic is very good, the animated film is mediocre.

The DC animated ones have been very good high quality and the Marvel ones haven't been half bad. Ya damn snob. Batman Superman public enemies was solid. Green Lantern First FLight was pretty good too. WonderWoman was O.K. Hulk Vs. Thor and Hulk Vs. Wolverine is very good as well. Ultimate Avengers (I & II) was really very good and worth a watch. Batman mystery of the batwoman was basically the last of the BATAS movies and like 3 good episodes.

Dc is going to be releasing an adaptation of Crisis on infinite Earths soon. I don't think an animated Punisher is in the cards. Never read the Spirit but the Frank Miller movie was.... monstrously painful.

Wendy and Richard Pini of Elfquest tried and failed to get an animated Elric off the ground, they did a ton of production of that. GrimJack has zero chance of adaptation, it's completely under the radar.

I would think GrimJack would have a chance, like i said, if it wasn't advertised as a comic book adaptation.

If movies like The Book Of Eli and Total Recall can come out of nowhere (i know Total Recall is a Dick novel, but it wasn't advertised as being based on one) and still make a buck, I would think there is a market for GrimJack.

The rights for Grimmers was recently finally reclaimed by the owners-creators and there has been some talk of it in the past. Like Judge Dred it would be an expensive undertaking to make it like the comic, to do it right it would be on par with a star wars movie. But with The Watchmen and all the new interest in counter-superhero adaptations, who knows? Maybe someday.

At the insistence of a friend I began to read the first book and literally could not put it down. I had all the books read in no time and began searching for more stories by the author with the mis-fortunate last name. I just finished "Lightsaber Lost" about an hour ago.

I quite enjoyed that.

I always wished Lucas would explore the actual city streets and stuff like that in the SW world.....that's was one of the best parts about "Episode II".

I'm not quite sure what I thought of it yet........I think I liked it. :p

I have no idea what exactly happened, but I think i have to have a little more knowledge of The Book Of Revelations to fully understand it....that and get my hands on the Graphic Novels that serve as Chapters 1-3...the movie is Chapters 4-6.

yeah...i downloaded the soundtrack yesterday....listened to it atleast 3 times over. I'm quite fond of a few of the Moby scores cues......"Chord Sounds" stuck out to me in the movie, so i wanted it. Very pleasant.
