Original 20GB, 60GB or 120GB give you this benefit. The Pro move to 60GB is better than it seems because 10 - 12 GB are reserved on the Hard disk and not available for use.

Yes you should still buy from Amazon if the best price is important however it's important to get the cooler GPU chip since this is the main cause of the RROD (Red Rings of Death) - the cooler CPU is good but not the answer.

Although Microsoft gives a three year warranty on the RROD it's only one year on the rest of the unit. Be prepared to loose the item for a mnoth if it becomes faulty - a one month voucher from Microsoft isn't good compensation each time it fails is it?

Falcon = 65nm CPU + 65nm GPU (cause of RROD)
Jasper = 65nm CPU + 65nm GPU

Both Microsoft and the people who buy them are hoping that this is the end of RROD.

So should you buy an XBOX from Amazon? Of course - just do yourself a favour and choose the 60GB unit. Without opening the packaging check it is Jasper - google the web for details and be prepared to send it back if it isn't until you do get one.

Luckily, though, the one that I have left to read is a short story so I only have about 70 pages left. Another lucky thing is that the questions are open answer questions so... I basically get to rant about the book. Ranting is what I'm good at (as you can tell from previous conversations. XD)

but,luckily they brought out a monitor that just a monitor for PS3 & X-Box 360.....so, thats mostly the reason i'll be gaming !

it's an expensive hobby to have......i usually try not to buy games that run through a storyline and then it's over.....'cuz usually i finish 'em in less than a week and feel ripped off.

like $75....and i'm thinkin,well,that'll keep me occupied....but,...5 days later its all done...!

I still have PS2 the last games I bought were Star Wars the Force Unleashed and The Thing.

I always feel like I am wasting my time though. Last time I played it was when my internets went down.
I played the hell out of Twisted Metal 2 though with friends and used to beat my brother until he took some time and practiced.
Then he beat me almost every time, brutal revenge.
Those were the days of Marvel Vs Capcom.
They should totally remake that game now.
