He used to cover 80s toys, commercials, pop-culture a lot more. For years now, though, it's been soda and random minutia. One thing most peeps don't know and it's a genuine concern. When you finished gaming, wait until the fan has slowed to a normal kind of speed before shutting down. Shutting down while it's firing on all guns is a bad idea. Same as with a PC.

I have a whole mess of PSN stuff. Most FF games, the Wild Arms games, Corpse Party, Braid, Space Channel 5, the free stuff from when PSN got hacked, Shatter, Battle Fantasia, Beyond Good and Evil, Super Puzzle Fighter, Castle Crashers, a couple minis...I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff too. It's split between my PSP and PS3.

I believe it's just a interactive visual thing. I "ooh"ed and "aww"ed over it for the first few minutes before turning it off and completely forgetting about it.

I've read a number of light novels. They are aptly named.

I know nothing about light novels. Are they illustrated or are they just novels?

The only anime series that I knew was based off a light novel series was pretty shit.

Some had character illustrations at the back but throughout the main body they were just text. None of them were very challenging but they can fill the void left over after a series ends. You can read them easily in a day if you have the time to sit that long.

I'm considering doing a little every now in then review of anime that I have watched. Its bound to piss someone off and make me look like a damn fool. Everybody wins :D.

M. Drive is an awesome movie. My older brother rented it because he loves the women in the movie and heard there was lesbo scenes in it.
God we were so stoned and drunk. He didn't really seem to enjoy the movie so much.

I remember the scene where they were watching that opera and the singing. That part made me cry, she was so beautiful the song was wonderful.
I tried not to cry over the song, but then as soon as it showed them onscreen, it was like looking into a mirror :laugh:
I looked over at my brother and he didn't seem impressed at all. He seemed annoyed :laugh:

My favorite part is Winkies restuarant scene.

Squeee! Korra was so good.

Yeah, bullshitting would seem more likely, but what could be his ulterior motive for stirring up shit if it's not actually equality he's after? I like your idea about the familiar face. Somewhat cliche, but Avatar is nothing if not Archetypal. (spelling?) They would do it well anyway.

I want more Sokka info. Everybody does, but really most of all... did he go back and find space sword?

I really don't mind most cliches as long as they're used effectively. There are a lot of tropes that I love.

What really got me is how orchestrated it seemed. Bolin's friendship with Korra is going to be pretty known in Republic City, given the pro-bending stuff. He gets offered a huge chunk of money to be in the right place to get swept up in all this- something that pretty much guaranteed that the Avatar would be there to see Amon's display and get the word out to all the benders in the city.

Amon taking the guy's powers seemed pretty believable, and I definitely don't think it was entirely faked. But right now, I don't believe he was given this gift by the spirits, I don't believe his story about his family (it was conveniently similar to what happened to Mako, I wonder how well the Bending Brothers history is known), and I actually think he's not a non-bender at all. Haven't theorized beyond that.

He's a magnetic speaker though, I was hanging onto his every word in the moment. I didn't start trying to dissect it till afterwords.

My old teacher is a vegetarian. No meat, but she doesn't seem to mind animal products that don't kill the animal like cheese and other dairy. I should ask her how she feels about eggs. Some Veggies consider that bad and others don't. go figure.

I have a dirty little secret. I always skip about half of the songs on this album. How is this one of my favorites, again? Well, to be frank, there isn’t a 100% perfect Fall Out Boy album. I said it. Now, deal with it. Patrick used to rummage through Pete’s bile diaries and pull out bits and pieces that were sharp enough to slice your wrists and your ex-girlfriends' hearts. He shot them like arrows to heaven with his soaring voice and (as their career went on) glistening production. Here, a slight majority of the time, he manages to make Pete’s best musings about adultery, rampant dark-pride, smug drug use, and even regret, into gloriously funky anthems and self-reflective ballads. The best we could expect from them came at the end, in their usual slap-dash manner. Come back, guys, we need your messy imperfection to keep us sane.

In fact, I had never heard a double album before ...Defense... with anything close to enough cohesion and consistency for my tastes. Ultimately, this stands as an oppresively monolithic slab of crystalized black bile. Indeed, get ready to stew there an extended while with his kindred, mostly deadened, heart. Yes, there are brief moments of panache, longing, and fraternity, but don�t expect to see them often. I couldn't have said it better about some of my favorite albums. Warning is one.

One of my favorite albums for so many reasons.....but I find there's so much filler.

Confusing.

I've been thinking about that for such a long time, now. The songs that are good are INSANELY good and the rest are so easily skippable to get to what I want to hear.

There's one of those songs that Jessie REALLY likes, so it isn't like they are duds to everyone in the world. If it had just been the good songs it could have been the PERFECT EP. Could be said of all Fall Out Boy albums, really. They were just never able to get all the ducks in a row.

It's difficult to give albums like that lower ratings.

...but in the end I think it's a fair rating and is difficult to internally argue with.

I did a few Nuts with lower ratings than I wanted to but couldn't justify a higher rating.

I'm drunk babbling.

I really think if Max had made Baseball recently, I'd treat it far more harshly because of the nature of the songs early in the order. But because of his age at the time and how they lead into far more substantial songs as it progresses, I'm able to see it for the early masterwork that it is. Probably why I'm not going to nut it. There are some demos from that era that are just......:notgood: FAR, FAR too generic to have come out of his head. He should let nameless, upstart emo bands take them and claim them as their own :laugh:

I didn't get mad at Mostly Harmless for essentially the same thing. *shrug*

From my understanding, the big problem is that they advertised it as having multiple endings with your choices changing the outcome of the game, and they didn't deliver. The BBB said that they used false advertising.

The other problem is that the ending(s) is kind of plot-hole tastic and hard to believe? Like I guess someone shows up and says "you have to do one of these things" and your character just goes along with it without much of any question. People who have played the games more than I have (I haven't played ME3 at all and don't plan on it) say a lot of stuff is incorrect and doesn't add up with past lore. The ending wasn't written by the people who wrote most of the games and I guess that's really obvious too.

I haven't played the game though, I'm just summing up various rants I've read from friends.

During the final battle for Earth, Shepard is gravely wounded in an attack by Harbinger. Ending 2-Control
Shepard takes control of the Reapers. The Reapers depart Earth in this scenario and the Citadel survives. (This means that this shit is gonna happen again in the future anyways)

Ending 3- Synthesis

Shepard sacrifices himself to turn all life in the galaxy into a new synth-organic race. Citadel is spared but Relays are destroyed. ( I hate this ending because it just doesn't make any fucking sense).
