Bendis always does a terrible job with Spider-Woman. I think it's because he likes her too much? It's so obvious to him she's awesome that he doesn't really make her that awesome. Like how Geoff Johns loves Barry Allen and Hal Jordan but has a hard time writing them well (I love doofus Hal forever though)

If we're gonna talk about Superman movies, I gotta give it up to the original first two, and although some may flame me for it, I prefer the original Richard Lester version over the Richard Donner cut of Superman II. I also really enjoyed Superman Returns and I'm looking forward to Man of Steel.

Most people don't realize that Miyazaki really, really, really good at getting voice performances. Don't worry that you don't know the words, listen to Nausicca voice of liquid silver, or the intensity of Sheeta crying out for Pazu. That's just great acting any way you slice it.

local electronics stores should have them. or you can order them online from various places. really cheap.
they usually come with new headphones if they're 'spensive.

you can google up your stores and use "ferrite" as the search term, something should come up.

i want to get a few. thicker/stronger ones.

they filter out spikes from AC power lines and other interference.

with speaker wires, i'd suggest getting a thicker gauge of wires. ones dipped in silver work out the best.
typically, the bigger and more wattage your speakers can ouput, the thicker the gauge needs to be.
at your local electronics store, you can ask about gauge information.

It may also be dust. Dust can make connections produce weird sounds.

2 people do not make a hunting/fighting party; especially when one of them is useless, which the game seemed more than willing to include in each of the 3 teams.

It gives me an Eidolon then changes focus (no pun intended) to another pair of people so I can�t see what the Eidolon does. Doesn�t matter, they do fuck all of any worth.

Then I got to Hope�s house and YAY! 3 people in my team! This is the shit! So I stayed there for a while until I could take the music no more. I went outside and had a 20 minute boss battle with my kick ass 3 member team.

Then the game said �FUCK YOU� and took my party away and gave me 2 people. But it gave me haste to compensate. YAY!

Then it gave me a 20 minute boss battle and afterwards put me in a 1 party (team?). Then it gave me back my 2nd shitty member and put me in an Eidolon battle without any save points or opportunity to use my CP or change my Paradigms. After that it said �Ha Ha, Silly little human, FUCK YOU,� once more and took away my haste. But it gave me a 4 party team! YAY? :ashine:

No, you�re only allowed to use 3 of them right now even though the 4th guy (Snow) is the one in the FMV getting all excited and rallying the troops.

I spent a good few hours at Hopes because I was getting Phoenix Downs and Incentive Chips. I was keen to go out because I had 3 people.

I'm equal parts loving it and hating it overall. The weapon upgrade system is making me homicidal crazy.

The switching paradigms, the bit that used to slow me down, is becoming second nature.

I miss the traditional levelling up. It gave an immediate result. The grinding has become farming. You can't level up until the game lets you.

I will REJOICE when it happens. :p

It's better than XIII-2 where they give you pretty much everything, right away, and then there's no development for 80 lvls. Fucking cunts.

Recently bought Bayonetta (like a week ago) haven't gotten around to play it much but seems like whacky fun..

It's punishing hard on your first play through if you choose normal difficulty. I had nothing else to play once I finished it so I went through it again straight away and enjoyed it so much more, because I got to keep learned abilities. It made it easier but was still challenging. If you're getting pummelled, lower the difficulty (and raise the enjoyment).

Also, if you got it on PS3 make sure to get the patch before you start. It fixed it.

As for Ghibli/Miyazaki, Favorites are Mononoke and Cagliostro, followed by Porco Rosso and Laputa. least liked ones are Howl and Chihiro. don't ask me why, it's hard to explain. I just...don't really enjoy them :itsamystery:

I'm not a big player of survival horror, I just hate the idea of anything of niche pandering to the CoD mentality.

PS3 was 5 years old last week. :shock:

Piggybacking on your post a bit, but man, I am dreading the next generation. I feel like the more game budgets increase, the more games have to be CoD clones and such. I'm certain downloadable games will be great, but I wouldn't be surprised if I wind up sticking to handhelds entirely a few generations down the line. :sad:

I'm really glad this generation seems to be lasting a bit longer, though. I feel like it took a long time to hit its stride, but now it's in a good place. It's going to be harder and harder to have the kind of dramatic improvements that will get people to shell out hundreds and hundreds for a new system, and developing for new systems can't be all that appealing for developers.

I know Nintendo has their new system coming out, but I just can't with Nintendo anymore. I still love my DS <3

I've been putting off the relationship mix because it'll be emotionally draining and I'll cry a lot when I make it. But, I cry a lot anyways. I want to do it. Should start working on it now, I guess, since it'll probably be at least a few days before my CD gets here.

I'm a terrible crybaby. Always have been, I hate it. I'm not against crying sometimes or anything like that, I just cry over a lot of really stupid stuff. And I tend to cry when I'm mad too, which is just embarrassing. :laugh:

I don't know if you mean pretty bad in terms of emotional gushiness or extreme bitterness. But, if you mean the latter, then pretty much 90% of Say Anything. I can definitely still listen to them, but I know on some deeper level that it isn't "right" to feel that way. But, I'm glad Max has. I'm glad someone else on this planet has felt that way.

it's a shame scott walker hasn't let his covers albums from the 70's get reissued. there's nothing particularly genius or revolutionary about them, but there are still some good performances here and there and it's nice to hear him singing stuff by the likes of nino rota and john barry
