Actually, one of them I would consider more heavily reggae-oriented, while the other has a bit of a rock beat. And the score selections you included were superb. Video Game Review:

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings - Wii

So, how do I summarize the experience of playing this game? Four words: Lack of overall polish. It sucked. :( I want so much to love these games, but there's just so much bad in it...oh God. For instance, the controls are terrible. Yes, you get the experience of swinging a whip by swinging the Wii remote. But if you've ever handled a real bullshit, you know there is more than the simple up and down motion; there is also side to side, over the head, etc. Anyway, the whip controls aren't my biggest beef. It's the fucking in-game fighting system, where you have to exaggeratingly swing the remote from right to left in order to execute a right hook, which is very annoying when you're being inundated by 4 baddies at the same time. ANYWAY... The story was typical (i.e. you can't follow it), but it has to do with something about the Staff of Ra...yeah. The game is short; beat it in two consecutive days. Whoever did Indy's voice in this game sounds like a horrible imitation. Not even a passable imitation, just plain insulting. And the music? Good and bad. The good? It's directly from the John Williams vault. The bad? Whoever the music editor was, he didn't do his homework. Playing Marion's theme for a random female sidekick? Blasphemy. And "The Adventures of Mutt" theme from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Inappropriate! Fuck, it makes me so angry... :mad:

So anyway, one and a half out of four asterisks. A very unpleasant gaming experience.

There is one cool extra though; a port of the PC game, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is included! The best Indy game ever made (I still consider it Indy 4 in my estimation). Unfortunately it's just that; a strict port, and it's very dated. I wish they would have went back and smoothed out some of the graphics, but oh well. It's the one saving grace of buying the game (which thankfully I didn't; I rented).
