Free Gifts are awesome. Owning the two coolest headders? Priceless

At this rate you're going to have a collection without having to buy anything. ^___^

Poster looks pretty awesome, even if it's not just Shinkenger. Maybe Goseiger will wind up being awesome in spite of Gosei Red, and it'll be something you can enjoy for both sets of sentai. ^^

Sorry I missed this, we must've posted at the same time, and then the mail came and I got distracted. XD

Takeru gets to use the power of one of the Gumball machine staffs. Hence black cape. Still have no idea how all of them are supposed to go Super at the same time. I would have preferred Takeru and Genta going whatever black is and Chiaki going Hyper. Or Kotoho going Hyper ;)

Tachibana ^____^ Such a good arc for his character.

After I linked you that gif, I thought "oh hey, that's kind of spoilery", but I figured it was just better not to say anything so that you wouldn't realize it was a spoiler. ; ; It is a pretty badass gif for a pretty badass scene, though!

sorry dude....more "legal shit" coming my way !

unbelievably dumb legal shit !. Wish I could tell you guys.....but....! [Well guess I can tell you a 22 year old situation could have been avoided, but was insisted on by others....so UNLAWFUL was their behavior before that I actually had to bring a WITNESS along.....and it still only lead to THEIR typical behavior....which I am now taking legal action over. Just ALL could have been avoided if I was heeded in the first place !]

etc.

heh

jury duty is funny....just pretend you're mad ! they can't have "mad" people in court...no matter how "diverse" they like jurors !

when in doubt...pretend you're bat shit crazy ! works for me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehMPmKHO6Vg

or live !!!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLVoM8KztYw

I think he's seen the light...but then...people will just fuck with him for the cash cow day-in-court-against-the-crazy-rocker-man thing.

And its fine line...i mean if he does nutty things...gets paid alot for it,makes fans scream alot because of it...must be a bit of a mind fuck to finally end up in court with people saying...y'know, you smashed a bottle over my head & shot my pig & you are in the wrong"....I'd be like,...but i'm working on my new lyric's inspirations !

cuckoo77
01-28-2011, 10:28 AM
If he's gonna live the rock star life he should be prepared to deal with shit that comes with it.

I don't feel sorry for him for that.

Been working on this for a few days, because I have to arrange things after I decide on the list. No, I'm not bothered that there are 3 Keanu movies on the list. I really do work hard to make representative lists and even though they all star him, they are very different thematically. Keanu being diverse? There's no way that can be right? Can it??!?! :p

1.) The Matrix: Revolutions
2.) Josie and the Pussycats
3.) High Fidelity
4.) Chasing Amy
5.) Sweet November
6.) Constantine
7.) All the Real Girls
8.) Garden State
9.) SLC Punk
10.) Watchmen

The Matrix is really central to how I think about the world and it's influenced my writing, my thinking, and well, everything. Josie is just such a concentrated sugar rush of a movie and it plays to an important part of my psyche. I'm glad that the Top 5 incorporates representatives from my main interests in the world of film making: Keanu, Cusack, Cook, and Kevin Smith. Sweet November is about someone learning how to live and also how to deal with loss, which is always a fantastic thing, when done right.

Watchmen is here because I get happy every time I think about it and it was the turning point in making this list. I'm used to seeing a nice bit of evolution over time in terms of my Top # lists, and I've loved most of these movies for a very very long time. That's okay, though!

The film adaptation of Watchmen made my favorite moments shine and even elevated moments that didn't affect me to greatness. The title sequence just brings me to tears with it's delicate sense of nostalgia, loss, and fragile optimism.

If any of them are getting the boot it's Garden State. I haven't watched that in FOREVER. Otherwise, still a very solid representation.

I think any young actor with a strong presence usually has big fans or big haters....there aren't really anybody that says "yeah...they're all right".

I've never seen the Scooby Doo movies...I might some day (I know they're supposed to be horrible, but still...director James Gunn...he's nuts :D)...Sarah Michelle Gellar and Matt Lillard have me sold. Lillard is the best Shaggy ever.

See.....it's hard for Green Day, because what if I'm in a bitter angry mood.....naturally, I'd pick Insomniac........Insomniac gets a lot play......I've bought it 4 times now.

or in a lovesick, tired mood....Nimrod.

I am not really in the right frame of mind to make new top lists, but here's a top 15 comics list I made a while back! It's fairly accurate, just a few things would've been switched around if I hadn't been doing it as a recommendation thing/trying to make it balanced instead of a best of Grant Morrison list. Seaguy really is my favorite comic ever, even though it isn't finished.

I associate The Crow with a jerkwad :(

My games shop is having a Silent Auction thing in the next couple weeks with a bunch of old board games, roleplaying books, and stuff like that, and someone put up two huge boxes full of good comics! Marvel, DC, and Vertigo, from what I could see. I am (probably irrationally) hoping that everyone is going to bid on the types of things the store sells and I'll be able to swing getting both boxes. If not though, I think I can pull of getting one. New comics! ^_____^

The last day to bid is on Superbowl Sunday and I was all "man, I don't care about the superbowl! I'm totally going to go in be able to make the last bids on the stuff I want!". But I have been informed that no nerds care about the superbowl. :(

Yea, I figured it out. I have custom margins because the publisher I send things to demands huge ass margins. It pushed the text all off to the right and half of words were missing.
The margins aren't in Wordpad so that's why it worked for me. :D

It said it was a short so I expected 30 to 40 pages. I have no idea where it was first published.

One of her books got really bad reviews on Amazon, and she posted this huge, crazy rambling review that included her address and everything. She confirmed it was really her on her website. Amazon took it down for some reason, but here's the text. Pretty tl;dr.

Seldom do I really answer those who criticize my work. In fact, the entire development of my career has been fueled by my ability to ignore denigrating and trivializing criticism as I realize my dreams and my goals. However there is something compelling about Amazon's willingness to publish just about anything, and the sheer outrageous stupidity of many things you've said here that actually touches my proletarian and Democratic soul. Also I use and enjoy Amazon and I do read the reviews of other people's books in many fields. In sum, I believe in what happens here. And so, I speak. First off, let me say that this is addressed only to some of you, who have posted outrageously negative comments here, and not to all. You are interrogating this text from the wrong perspective. Indeed, you aren't even reading it. You are projecting your own limitations on it. And you are giving a whole new meaning to the words "wide readership." And you have strained my Dickensean principles to the max. I'm justifiably proud of being read by intellectual giants and waitresses in trailer parks,in fact, I love it, but who in the world are you? Now to the book. Allow me to point out: nowhere in this text are you told that this is the last of the chronicles, nowhere are you promised curtain calls or a finale, nowhere are you told there will be a wrap-up of all the earlier material. The text tells you exactly what to expect. And it warns you specifically that if you did not enjoy Memnoch the Devil, you may not enjoy this book. This book is by and about a hero whom many of you have already rejected. And he tells you that you are likely to reject him again. And this book is most certainly written -- every word of it -- by me. If and when I can't write a book on my own, you'll know about it. And no, I have no intention of allowing any editor ever to distort, cut, or otherwise mutilate sentences that I have edited and re-edited, and organized and polished myself. I fought a great battle to achieve a status where I did not have to put up with editors making demands on me, and I will never relinquish that status. For me, novel writing is a virtuoso performance. It is not a collaborative art. Back to the novel itself: the character who tells the tale is my Lestat. I was with him more closely than I have ever been in this novel; his voice was as powerful for me as I've ever heard it. I experienced break through after break through as I walked with him, moved with him, saw through his eyes. What I ask of Lestat, Lestat unfailingly gives. For me, three hunting scenes, two which take place in hotels -- the lone woman waiting for the hit man, the slaughter at the pimp's party -- and the late night foray into the slums --stand with any similar scenes in all of the chronicles. They can be read aloud without a single hitch. Every word is in perfect place. The short chapter in which Lestat describes his love for Rowan Mayfair was for me a totally realized poem. There are other such scenes in this book. You don't get all this? Fine. But I experienced an intimacy with the character in those scenes that shattered all prior restraints, and when one is writing one does have to continuously and courageously fight a destructive tendency to inhibition and restraint. Getting really close to the subject matter is the achievement of only great art. Now, if it doesn't appeal to you, fine. You don't enjoy it? Read somebody else. But your stupid arrogant assumptions about me and what I am doing are slander. And you have used this site as if it were a public urinal to publish falsehood and lies. I'll never challenge your democratic freedom to do so, and yes, I'm answering you, but for what it's worth, be assured of the utter contempt I feel for you, especially those of you who post anonymously (and perhaps repeatedly?) and how glad I am that this book is the last one in a series that has invited your hateful and ugly responses. Now, to return to the narrative in question: Lestat's wanting to be a saint is a vision larded through and through with his characteristic vanity. It connects perfectly with his earlier ambitions to be an actor in Paris, a rock star in the modern age. If you can't see that, you aren't reading my work. In his conversation with the Pope he makes observations on the times which are in continuity with his observations on the late twentieth century in The Vampire Lestat, and in continuity with Marius' observations in that book and later in Queen of the Damned. The state of the world has always been an important theme in the chronicles. Lestat's comments matter. Every word he speaks is part of the achievement of this book. That Lestat renounced this saintly ambition within a matter of pages is plain enough for you to see. That he reverts to his old self is obvious, and that he intends to complete the tale of Blackwood Farm is also quite clear. There are many other themes and patterns in this work that I might mention -- the interplay between St.Juan Diago and Lestat, the invisible creature who doesn't "exist" in the eyes of the world is a case in point. There is also the theme of the snare of Blackwood Farm, the place where a human existence becomes so beguiling that Lestat relinquishes his power as if to a spell. The entire relationship between Lestat and Uncle Julien is carefully worked out. But I leave it to readers to discover how this complex and intricate novel establishes itself within a unique, if not unrivalled series of book. There are things to be said. And there is pleasure to be had. And readers will say wonderful things about Blood Canticle and they already are. There are readers out there and plenty of them who cherish the individuality of each of the chronicles which you so flippantly condemn. They can and do talk circles around you. And I am warmed by their response. Their letters, the papers they write in school, our face to face exchanges on the road -- these things sustain me when I read the utter trash that you post. But I feel I have said enough. If this reaches one reader who is curious about my work and shocked by the ugly reviews here, I've served my goals. And Yo, you dude, the slang police! Lestat talks like I do. He always has and he always will. You really wouldn't much like being around either one of us. And you don't have to be. If any of you want to say anything about all this by all means Email me at [email protected]. And if you want your money back for the book, send it to [address on Amazon]. I'm not a coward about my real name or where I live. And yes, the Chronicles are no more! Thank God

Crawl from the wreckage one more time
Horrific memories twist the mind
Dark, rugged, cold and hard to turn
Path of destruction, feel it burn
Still life
Incarnation
Still life
Infamy

Hallucination
Heresy
Still you run, what's to come?
What's to be?

'Cause we hunt you down without mercy
Hunt you down all nightmare long
Feel us breathe upon your face
Feel us shift, every move we trace
Hunt you down without mercy
Hunt you down all nightmare long, yeah
Luck. Runs. Out!

You crawl back in
But your luck runs out-ahh

Luck. Runs. Out.

The light that is not light is here
To flush you out with your own fear
You hide, you hide, but will be found
Release your grip without a sound

Still life
Immolation
Still life
Infamy

Hallucination
Heresy
Still you run, what's to come?
What's be?

'Cause we hunt you down without mercy
Hunt you down all nightmare long
Feel us breathe upon your face
Feel us shift, every move we trace
Hunt you down without mercy
Hunt you down all nightmare long
Luck. Runs.

You crawl back in
But your luck runs out

Then you crawl back in
Into your obsession
Never to return
This is your confession

Hunt you down without mercy
Hunt you down all nightmare long
Feel us breathe upon your face
Feel us shift, every move we trace
Hunt you down without mercy
Hunt you down all nightmare long, yeah
Luck. Runs. Out!

You crawl back in
But your luck runs out

Your luck runs out!

a pic for Neg.

Shia LeDouche still can't find his penis !

overcompensates by being in every movie since 2004

Another funny thing thats happened recently is I asked a police officer if I was addressing a freemason..... he didn't seem to like that, finally answered "no" and then actually called over another officer to tell him what I had asked ! They then wanted "me" to "write down" "my name" ! I asked if I was obliged and the answer was No, so I didn't !

We live in strange ol' MATRIX of a World folks !

My date of birth is "hearsay".I was too young to remember, to confirm it. This gets better & better !

Oh, I have game and movie lists on here too.

1. Disgaea
2. Final Fantasy VI
3. Ever 17
4. Harvest Moon 64
5. Earthbound
6. Soul Calibur
7. Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations
8. Space Channel 5 Part 2
9. Powerstone 2
10. Bubble Bobble

1. Babe
2. Philadelphia Story
3. Aliens
4. Chasing Amy
5. Oldboy
6. Blue Velvet
7. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
8. Say Anything
9. The Big Lebowski
10. The Bird People in China

I don't think either list would be hugely different if I re-did them now, although there'd probably be a couple differences. I get really reluctant to add new stuff to lists like these unless I've been excited about it and watching/playing it a lot for a couple years.

I'll try and get to work on a tv and album list now that I'm less tired!

It's up there! It's a really terrific movie, both effects wise and story wise. Was even nominated for Best Picture back in the 5 nomination days. :)

On the dvd commentary, they say all the pigs from the movie still remember their training, and that all of Fly's puppies went to cast and crew members.

When I was much, much younger, maybe 11-13, I used to mix up Giger and Lovecraft for some reason.

I think the Kiryuu stuff was handled incredibly well. Even though he was only in the show for that little bit, and we didn't get to see much of him the way Tachibana and Kenzaki originally did, his death had a huge emotional impact. And the way that it happened was genuinely shocking, or at least it was to me.
