Just saw this guy on the news. they sent a crew out to interview him and he gave a demonstration. (he's moving that fast because the street's wet.)

Just got back from seeing Brave.
Awesome.
Yes, the first half is better than the second, where there are some unexpected lapses in logic. But good characters and a good story.

I find your comment confusing. I'm pretty sure he knew he'd be arrested when he showed up. That's why he's wearing a uniform for a job he retired from. You know, like the geriatric vets who showed up in their dress uniforms. So, are you not in favor of the protests, or annoyed that someone in law enforcement could be sympathetic? or both?

Yeah, but the ISP's aren't gonna do nothin. They'll just say "you should've went with our secure DNS service we provide for free. :smrt:"

"We can have a technician show up and setup your computer to be DNS friendly as per government protocol.
For $50.

:eye: Oi! You can do this for free yourself.

There's a tool to help you clean yourself if you're given a red flag.
I don't remember where it is.

Firewall settings could help fix it too.

Seabert was a cutesy 80s cartoon about a seal and his human friends who would fight hunters/poachers. His family was killed by hunters. iirc on the VHS tapes they even had live action stuff talking about seal clubbing. They also showed hunters running at seals with clubs in the intro.

Fundamental limitation of your ability to write.
People have been able to successfully correspond for millenia without the need for accompanying graphics.

It's called word choice. English in particular is a very rich language. Throw away your crutches and learn how to use words. You don't need, you've never needed, emoticons, texting shorthand, colored text, or for that matter, underlined text, bold, italics, or font sizes. (Although I have occasionally been guilty of the later.)
You just have to be more careful about how you pick your words.
Emoticons aren't necessary, they're just lazy. (And tiny and blurry.)

More fun than good. I seem to recall most of the satire from the novel got lost in the film translation, rendering the film kind of pointless.

You are a mutant apparently. Even trying for speed I couldn't get past 72%

Fast reading is my one talent. I guess I do some speedreading stuff naturally, it's just how I've always read.

The other two excerpts are both from books I've read so I can't do a true speedreading test. Suspect I can't read as fast as I did for the second one and still get a perfect comprehension score.

I got all the questions right. But feck it was a hard read.
It's really old style English. I've not nearly ever heard there places mentioned.
I had to reread a few of the lines just figure out what it was actually saying.

And some of the sentences confused me, like I kept thinking that that it wasn't a proper sentence so. When I got half way through I finally realized I was reading it out context. something something something grammar.

I'm trying to remember, it was like a 4 second scene and it involved people marching down the street with a flag while they sang. I made it when I was 14 and my memories are really fuzzy.

I remember we used squirt guns filled with fake blood for when Romeo killed Tybalt, and my friend playing Romeo picked up the wrong gun to shoot him and said "where's the blood" before he got shot ~for reals~. I'm psyched for the new Sailor Moon. I have a lot of love for the old one, but it's not a great adaptation and some of the animation is horrible. And the dub is a hack job in the most hilarious of ways. This one's going to be closer to the manga.

I used to go to Canada and buy bootleg VHS tapes because it was the only way to get unedited/later episodes.

I think it's a tough sell here because many of the people who grew up loving it saw a drastically different show. And, the unedited box sets were subs only, which eliminates a significant portion of the market. Plus, while they're releasing it worldwide, it's a Japanese show and I don't feel like it should be held back because releases in other parts of the world were subpar. Sailor Moon is still huge in Japan. Wish they'd release live-action Sailor Moon here.

You have my sympathies.

It's 85 which is a far cry from the 120 where I used to live. Still just shorts. Modesty stops at 80.
My biggest gripe with the heat is I can't play any games because the laptop overheats too quickly in heat over 79.

I used to try stuff like that, except I'd try to make short movies in place of every assignment I got. They were mostly ridiculous, but I still got good grades on them somehow. My Romeo and Juliet movie involved us singing a song from a Taco Bell commercial.

IF I remeber right the first Gundam was released on DVD but was dub only because the Japanese was yet to be released on DVD and the creator didn;t want everyone buying the americanversions instead.

updating graphics is not always the answer. especially if the computer is one of those pre-made. Dell, Hp, Asus, etc.
Usually each model becomes outdated and deprecated. there's no more updates after a certain point.

...a long time ago ... Nuts.

Seeing as how you both raised the subject:

I went through the pains of trying to explain how labels that link to nowhere but themselves are doing nothing but hurrying the eventual end of the blog. You’re both still doing it. I :jackiechanheadfulloffuck: don’t understand why.

I'll try put it into perspective. Using Nut Suite as an example. I’m using Suite simply because it’s the easiest; it has a set number of labels so made the equation easier to understand.

5000 labels (blogger limit) minus 27 (A-Z and 0-9) equals 4973.

4973/2 = 2486. That’s how many posts you’d be allowed on Nut Suite if every post was a new artist.

If you didn’t use one use labels you’d be allowed 4973.

4973 or 2486. It’s a no brainer.

http://i.imgur.com/lC2Zx.gif

Do I have permission to go and clean up labels from people? I asked this before. No one replied. Please answer.

Titles only link to themselves. It's like having a cupboard for one tin of beans. You buy a multipack of beans so need four cupboards. Sooner otr later you'll run out of space for non-bean products.

I've stopped with the fun tags and am just doing directors/any actors likely to be in another nut film someday.

I loved fun tags same as you. I was going over all of mine a few days back and was in hysterics at some of the fun ones but they had to go.

All my worrying may be for naught if blogger make them infinite in the future. I hope they do.

If Blogger makes them unlimited we can have an awesome time making up new tags for everything. Maybe we should save great deleted ones in a notepad file even, just in case.

I do genre tags too, and any fun-ish tags that can be used a lot. I don't make new ones, just look for useful old ones.

My reading has halted. I don't read novels when I'm writing. I'm supposed to be writing but I'm blocked. It's a cycle.

I've been having a lot of trouble with my book so I've been reading like crazy trying to get inspiration. I got my story out last month for write1 sub1, but it isn't very good so I'm pretty sure I'll need to revise a lot. Which is fine, I just want to make myself submit stuff.

Pretty much the only parts of my book I have been writing are about a secondary character named Pee Feet. I am starting to think I should just make him the main character because he's all I can write about. I have no short story ideas this month so maybe I'll just revise that story and sub it more places.

I am reading this right now. It's okay so far. Seemed a little Alien-ish and I really liked the cover. ; ; Might switch books because I'm not that enthused about it, idk.

I'm hoping you don't own Hulk hands. :erm:

The rain has turned it into a mini alien landscape. Flowers (weeds) of colours I had no idea where even planted there. Plus nettles in the corner about 3 foot high. Seriously. It'll be a big job. back laters with stings,

I just found a notebook with a rough draft I lost of something I was working on. Actually, I think I sent it to Neg years ago? But he probably doesn't have it anymore. It was not very good.

My ideal is to write on paper and revise as I type but I don't do that that often anymore. I am a member of a forum that gives really useful feedback on stuff, and that helps a lot. I have a hard time editing these days when other people aren't telling me what's wrong with it. I know stuff is wrong but it's hard to figure out on my own. I will link you the forum in rep if you'd like to check it out! You need 50 posts to get feedback, though. I forgot my old account and I'm on a new one now, not quite to 50 yet.

I remember you sending it, but it doesn't look like I saved it.

:treknod: I want to sit in the tub with the cold water running. fapping should be... :erm: interesting.

That would have been ideal last night.

I watched 6 eps of Breaking Bad. The atmosphere and setting of that series seemed to suit the heat just fine. :D

Why didn't you finish the boots?

I suspect because he plans on rollerblading.

....what I'm wondering is, why didn't he finish the mask?

So I realize I've been fuddlin' out of the 10songs for awhile :erm:

 It's all good.

I have been working with a very special someone behind the curtains on a third and probably final round of 10 SONGS this past week. We held hands....giggled....and then he laughed so much, this green thick gelatin leaked out of his ass and things got weird.

We just have to come up with an order and probably start it up this week.

I went through the pains of trying to explain how labels that link to nowhere but themselves are doing nothing but hurrying the eventual end of the blog. You’re both still doing it. I :jackiechanheadfulloffuck: don’t understand why.

:rofldata: :rofldata:

I finally understand what you mean.

I just wasn't listening the last time. No movie titles. All right. That's easy enough. Makes sense if I actually use my brain good.

:rofldata: :rofldata:

I'll start cleaning up mine then.

I could do that with more comic stuff but I thought you guys didn't like that.

No. We hate it.

We all talk amongst ourselves. "Dammit, there's Doc with his comic stuff again".

...

I was using my sarcasm font there. Neg knows how to do it. :-P

I scanned through this before I ran out to get coffee this morning and I swear someone asked a question that was for me or I knew the answer to, but I didn't quote it and now I don't know what it is.

I think I asked you question and never got an answer. Don't recall.

Maybe not.

If I did and you never answered, I probably shook my fists at you and ran off into the night to plot other devious plans to extract upon the innocent victims of the world.

This new Blur single is awesome.

You've been finally been turned to the Albarn side.

Excellent.

Which one is it?

The Puritan or Under The Westway?

I think they're both fantastic.

He did an opera called "Dr. Dee: An English Opera". Alan Moore heavily inspired it.

I haven't heard it yet. I don't know why. I should get on that.

Pretty much the only parts of my book I have been writing are about a secondary character named Pee Feet. I am starting to think I should just make him the main character because he's all I can write about.

I almost always get get too obsessed with the secondary characters. Usually the main character suffers because of that.

In that case I'll make sure and do more. :169:

I also found a prescription for Doc's Lovemuck.

"Take twice daily up the bum," it says.

I'll give it to the neighbor's dog. :)

 Moore? :fap:

Yes. :)

Moore, Albarn and Hewlett were originally going to do it.

Now it's just Albarn.

 You wanted them.

Did I?

I didn't realize the consequences.

Albarn's just as bad as Mike Patton.

Once you look up his discography you realize how much of his stuff you don't actually have.

It can be real hit and miss too.

That reminds me. Meant to tell you. Patton has a new thing out.

Ictus Ensemble, Georges-Elie Octors and Mike Patton: Laborintus II

Not heard it.

It was the same as the cup fiasco a few days ago. All my gifs got fuckered after the last flash update. I need to fix em all but I'm too lazy.
