I have it too. Not as bad as many other actionner based on beat'em ups/alls. let's see:

Street Fighter: Vandamne. Nuff said.
Double Dragon: remember that one ? it was...terrible. Worth the PoS tag on the nutshell.
Mortal Kombat: Stupid, but Okay. good fights too, which the first two didn't have.
Mortal Kombat annihilation: PoS, again.
King of Fighters: Horrid. terrifying. a vile piece of shit. worth a "Piece of rotten, smelly, toxic shit" on the nutblog.
SF: Legend of Chun Li: Don't even start me on that one.

Tekken: meh. not as bad as it was thought. The fights are good, the characters resemble their game counterparts, except maybe Jin, Kazuya and Heihachi, we're spared the boxing panda, bears, kangaroos and raptors, the living training doll...etc. Plot is paper thin, but at least for once, the plot is a goddamn tournament. not a war in a remote country, not a futuristic LA, not saving the world. Just winning an effin tournament. Good fights, relatively good music (one day, I'll do a rip), and that's all. the fighters are all credible, from Daniels (Ken, remember ??) as Fury to Lateef Crowder as Eddie Gordo.

You want terrible, watch SF: Legend of Chun Li. I did this afternoon. I didn't think some actors had that much problems paying their taxes. :notgood:

Those are Barnes and Nobel leather bound editions. I have Arabian Nights, Grimm's Fairy Tales, and a different Hitchhicker's Guide. Most of them all are complete and unabridged works and cost $20. The smaller ones like Jane Eyre are between $10-15. THe Arabian Nights is illustrated and the pages have fancy Indian stuff, while the Grimm has drawings by Arthur Rackham. I perfer my hitch hikers guide more than that one. It looks like a serious classic book but has the smilies in the corners of the cover.

The problem with cel-shaded Link isn't that he and his world are cel-shaded, it's that they fucked with the means of transportation and made the games a chore to play.

A friend and I were eating at the MSU cafeteria years ago, and she had a slug on her plate and started freaking out that it was going to crawl on her. I told her to put salt on it, and I guess she didn't know what it would do and she freaked out more. I felt weirdly guilty.

I can't say for sure, but I don't think I'd have the same reaction to a frog. Which is weird, for several reasons of varying logical weight.

I've enjoyed salting a few slugs, in my time. One time this girl was with us--I figure she was related to, or dating someone in the extended family--and right before we went to dinner she picked some up from our steps. Said she loved playing with them.

Sometimes I get panic-y when a lot of frogs/toads are around because I get terrified I'll kill one. If I saw one in the house I'd just catch it and let it out though, no big deal. Even with bugs I am pretty weird about what bothers me and what doesn't.
