We had the worst dubs ever around here. Between Hokuto No Ken making wordgames on kitchenware and clothing (Hokuto Shin Ken had become "Haut Couteau Suisse" or Haut Couteau de Cuisine, depending on the episodes, and Nanto Shin Ken had become "Nanto de Vison". all of these are probably lost on you, but to us...we first thought of it as a blasphemy, yet we had so much laughs with these...:laugh:

Same was true with City Hunter, where every bad guy in the french version sounded like a retarded five year old.

Deposit Files is horrible when it comes to organizing files and folders. There's like a 5 minute delay between renaming and moving to different folders so you have no idea of what you actually did. Plus I don't think they let you delete folders, just rename them.

Clone Wars does though. A lot of "never underestimate", "stop and smell the flowers", "communication is key", "don't be hasty", "room for growth" type stuff goes on.
I like the episode where two of them help this little twi'lek girl and reunite her with her family. One loves kids, the other loves his job. They both underestimate her capability to lead them back to the center of the town where the rest of the twi'lek's are held hostage. Which is natural, as the military protocol doesn't normally involve civilian intel in cases where extreme danger is involved. However, the city knowledge of shortcuts, alternate routes and hidden paths come in handy. Element of surprise, team work, droids hate their jobs, and just plain o' humanity are also learned in the episode.
That episode put a lump in my throat.

I think part of it is because they have different standards of how items are taken care of and what constitutes something being wrong with it. Slightly dinged corner is something we'd never notice. There are vids of people on youtube who handle their stuff with white gloves. Slightly concave backs are a reality of shipping and something we don't bat an eye over. To them it's damage because they can buy them off the shelves and have them be pristine.

I think another part of it is covering their asses, to a degree. I have damage on my CJGX wings that most people wouldn't notice, but I'd play up like hell if I ever tried to sell it. I won't, because I'm that insane over it that I'll just keep it in the closet, forever.

I was curious to know what kind trouble happens down in the video games downloads section. We all know how bad stuff gets in the film music section, but I don't go to the VG section much, nor do I see people complaining about it. You know what's the worst part about that little snot-nose? His join date was May 2012. Let's consider that. That means that he joined yesterday, and the first words out of his mouth have already given him a bad reputation. I think the OP of the thread responded to him quite well, but it sucks that you won't be getting a re-upload anytime soon. Perhaps it would be worth it to private message the OP and see if he could hook you up privately.

Monitor. A PC monitor should be able to handle it. The refresh rate is usually 60hz. Or sometimes up to 75hz.

I am weirdly picky about cereal. I don't know why. I think it's just my bias against breakfast.

Why has no one ever made a coffee cereal? It doesn't even need caffeine, I would welcome coffee flavored cereal.

I'm anti-breakfast if I have things to do. It seems so contrary to what SOCIETY expects, doesn't it? I feel eating in the morning just bogs me down. If it's going to be a day at home however, when I don't even really need much energy, I'm absolutely ok with it.

When you're a single guy living alone though, let's face it, cereal is an any-time food.

I still cook like I'm cooking for other people. I like cooking and I freeze a lot of stuff, so it works out. When I bake stuff I mostly just give it away. My crazy neighbors who talk loud have theories about this, but they still take my baked goods, so they must be good. :laugh:

When I eat breakfast I tend to get hungry again pretty early? I guess it's the metabolism boosting thing. But if I don't eat it I'm usually not even never hungry at lunch. Most days I just make one meal and eat more of it later on. I need to go cook something now. Can't make what I wanted because I forgot to put stuff in the slow cooker this morning. :sad:
