You know I wouldn't mind Michael Bay films so much, if they guy would quit talking like he's making Citizen Kane.

They're terrible and too long. They might actually be terrible fun if they he cut them down by about 45 minutes.....and quite making Optimus talk like he's a fortune cookie.

Michael Bay's biggest sin for me is that so many of his action scenes aren't well filmed! I don't buy into this idea that action films are supposed to be bad, but you know, I am perfectly capable of enjoying an otherwise terrible movie for some good fights. BUT HIS MOVIES DON'T EVEN HAVE GOOD FIGHTS. The Transformers films are especially guilty of this. The way the fight scenes are filmed is just awful and makes it hard to appreciate any good fight choreography that scene might contain.

iirc The Rock and Bad Boys had some alright action scenes so maybe this is a more recent development.

also this has nothing really to do with anything but Toy Story 3 was one of the best choreographed films I have ever seen, and I am ridiculously excited to see what kind of fight scenes Pixar puts together for Brave. Have you guys seen the trailer for Brave? CARS 2 IS FORGIVEN MAN, ALL IS FORGIVEN.


Loving Prototype, right now. I don't really have any powers besides jumping and running up walls. So it's basically just Neg's aggression simulator, right now.

Love how the people clump up in giant lines. I shouldn't, but it makes it easier for me to hit a lot with cars...

I can't really get into Prototype at all from a story perspective, but that doesn't really matter, since the game is ridiculously fun to play. The only thing that bugs me is when I randomly punch people as I'm walking when I'm trying to be in disguise. I ONLY WANT TO RANDOMLY PUNCH PEOPLE AS MY TRUE SELF.

I have way too much fun grabbing cars with people in them to throw at helicopters.

qr stands for quick response. they're used to give information to the scanner. they can open up a web page, or show text, or add a contact to your phone or something, etc.

It's some kind of postmodern, self-referring, Tarantino-esque remake of Sergio Corbucci's Django, but which mixes elements of Kurasawa's samurai films with Leone's spaghetti westerns. It doesn't work 100% imo, but it's interesting.
