I only get physical copies on the PC if the game is just too damned big to download.

Max Payne 3 for instance, 35 or so gigabytes.

PS3 downloading is just a fucking crapshoot so I don't even bother unless the game is small.

I will trade them in after I have wrung every last bit of content out of it or rather, sell it on eBay. I'll keep it if it is a favorite, but if it's just a game I liked but have done everything, I see it as doing someone else a favor and letting them enjoy it. (If they can pay, bitches)

Is it really a hardcore gamers thing? I keep almost everything, unless I don't really like it or I'm absolutely certain I won't play it again. I also try not to buy used games in most cases because it's really important to me to support the developers. I don't really care if it's a big budget game or something, but most of what I play is weeaboo stuff.

I like pretty boxes and nice displays, but ultimately what's important to me is being able to play the games I want to play. XSEED has actually really converted me on this. They've been releasing smaller titles digital only because they couldn't justify the cost off bringing them over otherwise. There's been some huge backlash with people calling for boycotts, saying XSEED is just trying to trick people, or saying it'd be better not to release it at all if they can't afford to do a physical release. It's so antithetical to how I feel and it's really strengthened my support towards something I was pretty iffy about.

I would have loved to get Corpse Party in a pretty box, but mostly, I'm just glad to have Corpse Party. If TitS 2 is Steam only, that's fine, as long as I get more TitS. I love a nice box but I love games much more than their packaging.

Sophomore year of college
Friend of ours who lived in Greenwich Village called us over and over again until we finally woke up. It was about a half hour after the second tower had collapsed. We had to talk her down from the freak out. Her apartment had a good view of the towers. The smell of dead bodies would hang in the air for over a month. She needed to show her passport to go into her neighborhood.

Still had to go to work that day. The boss, who was from Turkey what I thought. I said the term "Pearl Harbor" had been mentioned and that the country was about to insane for a while. By the end of the day there were big flags in the front of the store, flag decals in the windows of his car, and every employee had a flag pin.

Our friend had been planning to fly out and meet us anyway, and she ended up on one of the first flights after the ban had been lifted. She spent the next few days on our sofa, less than a mile from LAX, twitching every time a plane took off, which was a lot, punctuated by the occasional F-16 deployed to the airport.

Anyway. Sorry if I've told this story before.

Everybody was off their game. The NYPD reported that crime in the city dropped to almost nothing for about a week. It was such a fucked up thing to go through even the crooks needed to take some time and process.

Is it really a hardcore gamers thing? I keep almost everything, unless I don't really like it or I'm absolutely certain I won't play it again. I also try not to buy used games in most cases because it's really important to me to support the developers. I don't really care if it's a big budget game or something, but most of what I play is weeaboo stuff.

I like pretty boxes and nice displays, but ultimately what's important to me is being able to play the games I want to play. XSEED has actually really converted me on this. They've been releasing smaller titles digital only because they couldn't justify the cost off bringing them over otherwise. There's been some huge backlash with people calling for boycotts, saying XSEED is just trying to trick people, or saying it'd be better not to release it at all if they can't afford to do a physical release. It's so antithetical to how I feel and it's really strengthened my support towards something I was pretty iffy about.

I would have loved to get Corpse Party in a pretty box, but mostly, I'm just glad to have Corpse Party. If TitS 2 is Steam only, that's fine, as long as I get more TitS. I love a nice box but I love games much more than their packaging.

It really was. No one really knew if classes were canceled and people just hung around watching TV. I went to the computer lab and came here.

I think there were some issues with people getting back over the Canadian border. Either it was really backed up or they weren't letting people cross. I can't remember.
