Well, History Channel is officially fucking retarded. They are having a new show (Cajun Pawn) and I live in the same city most of the time. The place is a dump that was repaired pretty much just for the show, the neighborhood is the center of violent crime in the city, there are usually crackheads and stolen items in there, and your more likely to find a recently used murder weapon than a piece of history.

But then they decided that Ripley has been played out.

And he also said that Ripley's story is far from over.

And then he said Prometheus is no longer part of the Alien story.

He said it was an entirely new story they had to rewrite.

And I'm not sure what's going on anymore.

Between movies being rewritten everyday, before post-production (The Thing 2011), I'm just going to wait until it's in the theaters to find out the story.

All I know is Damon Lindelof is involved, and that's all I need to know.

I really like the A/P franchise. It's senseless alien action.
Always had a soft spot for the Predators. Especially their techonology.
The aliens are awesome swarming fun.

I wouldn't mind a revamped Predator. Not by anyone who currently did any Predator movies (including the AVP rapeage).
Someone with style and charisma that can present a monster onscreen and write a story that's at least better than porn-writing.
Dialogue is non-existent in the AVP movies.
