well...I passed my "Baccalaur�at" in 2000 (majoring (if you can use the term as the french scholar system is not the same as the anglo-american one. we don't chose majors. we get to study...what we're told to study. for me it was Economics and Sociology. in other words half bullshit and half theories on how people think).

Went on to study history, failed miserably (4 fuckin' years lost because of a racist professor. asshole got her ass glued to her chair for her troubles :naughty:), then studies without troubles foreign languages applied to trade and tourism, got my license, spent the best 6 months of my life in bavaria drinking beer and eating bretzels, went back to history for 2 years, got another license, and finally snatched a master in Heritage preservation and valorisation.

And now, I'm looking for a job.

There is a Year Zero :awsm: here, forgot about it. If you didn't get the grades to get into Year One you could take 4 years by doing Year Zero. Those places are limited. Only know one person who ever did it.

I took some college classes, but never got any degrees. I couldn't really decide what I wanted to major in and just farted around. The classes that might have interested me were always full and nigh impossible to get a slot or it would be a somewhat useless degree, like philosophy (no offense to any philo majors). I like history, but I see no practical use for it in the workforce, especially where I live.
I sometimes knew more than the teachers just by watching the History channel since their specialty was Asian studies or some junk, but took the history job just for cash. American History teacher flat out said his wife told him to get a job so they could get a new hot water system installed so they didn't have to wait for water to warm up.

I went straight into Film School for 2 1/2 after high school.....

....followed by nothing for a few years.....then Culinary Arts for 3.

Off to watch "split Second" AKA "Killer Instinct". niterz !

I barely use my degree now. Nice to have, though, in case I start not being able to make money otherwise.

I was originally a music major. I wanted to sing in choirs professionally. I couldn't get financial aid because my family is wealthy, and I dropped out after my scholarship money ran out. When I was able to go back I was a lot more practically minded and I just didn't have passion for music in the same way I used to.

Women's sizing is stupid and seemingly completely arbitrary. There's vanity sizing and whatever the opposite of vanity sizing is and nothing concrete. It doesn't make any sense at all. idk if men's shirt sizes get weird, but men's pant sizes make so much sense in comparison.

This might just apply to the US, I know sizes are different in a lot of places.

I've realized upon inspection, Tokyopop released the manga more than once. A large white cover version and the regular Tokyopop size. I've noticed the translations are different between them. Don't know why the same company would translate the same series twice :itsamystery:

doesn't sound like you have a proper x264 decoder installed.
CoreAVC (http://anonym.to/?http://www.mediafire.com/file/4g31nhou8rgqhju/ccca31.rar)can handle this.
Or you can use FFDshow (http://anonym.to/?http://www.videohelp.com/tools/ffdshow), which can also handle it.

i'd recommend using CoreAVC, it handles much nicer, it has improved speed over the years.

x264/AVC are the same.
it's better quality in small file sizes, compared to xvid.
x264 = FLAC
xvid = mp3@vbr
