again, i don't believe in the christian or biblical notion of a god but there are some serious errors in logic in that video

P1: the god of the bible requires worship
P2: the god of the bible is perfect
P3: a god cannot both be perfect and needing worship
C: the god of the bible does not exist.

and it's perfectly possible to conceive of both p1 and p2 being true without p3 (and as a consequence, C) being true. there's a conflation between "requiring worship" an "needing worship" despite these being very different things.

Personnally, my religiosity (is that even a word) ends at "there is a god".

No need for worship, for great demonstrations of faith, or for adhering to whatever is written in the "holy books", because they were written by men. and because the old bearded guy probably doesn't give a crap, again, a bit like Crom on top of his mountain.

I also firmly believe god doesn't give a crap about me, what I could ask him to do for me and all. I like to believe he started the whole gig billions of years ago because he was bored and decided to play with explosives. then he got a bowl of celestial pop corn, a comfy chair, and he's watching us as you'd be watching tv. without giving much fuck about requests.

Never forget a few things about religion:

1. they're created by men who believe in one or more god(s), not by the god(s) themselves. that means the rites, books and so on are written by men, who are by definition able to make mistakes, lie, cheat, or start wars.
2. The books being written by men, they reflect only what the writters wanted them to reflect. technically, there are exactly ten lines in the bible that are supposedly coming from god himself. the ten commandments. most of which being pretty easy to follow, them being more behaviour rules than religious one, except for the first 4. of course, we here are regularly breaching #8 (Thou shall not steal). and that's me not caring about it.
The rest of the bible was written by people with agendas, or with very zealous behaviours.
3. God, to my knowledge, doesn't require anything. well, supposedly, he requires worship (Commandment #1), but I think of these 10 commandment, if they even come from god (which I doubt), only the last 6 are of any importance. neither did he start any war, but those who "serve" him sure did...for agendas of their own.

In other words, never forget that religions are forged by men, not by gods. if they/he exist(s)

I guess it is. I didn't know about this disorder until I looked it up now. I guess these cats were in a YouTube video and they have Myotonia Congenita which prevents normal relaxation of muscles. I probably wouldn't have posted that image since I hate seeing animals suffer but I really didn't know it was from a disorder. I thought they just fell for the heck of it.
