Didn't listen to a whole lot about it I must say, I was busy following the evil dwarfs demise. But last I heard, there's a big push from the far right movements there too. I'll go check on that later on. but that's not too much surprising. Far right parties always have a good time in periods of Economic troubles. Imposing so many successive austerity plans on Greece had the same effect as ordering germany to pay 31.4 billion dollars (which is roughly corresponding to 442 billion dollars of today). As a result, German economy went down the shitter, and the ground was then VERY fertile for a charismatic asshole who had found the perfect scapegoat back then: the jews.

While the situation in greece isn't as extreme, Merkel and Sarkozy should have remembered that Greece was a real hard dictatorship only 40 years ago, a millitary Junta that has left deep scares in the country, but with a lot of supporters, as shown by the results, as the Far Right party that pierced and got 21 seats is in fact made of nostalgics of the Junta. Let's just hope history won't repeat itself...

I just don't get this mindset at all. When people try to rationalize that you need to be an ~adult~, but have no problem with spending money on other fun stuff, or watching goofy programs, with the target age being the only thing that matters. Or the people who get really made when you remind them shows they like are aimed at kids. All that matters is that you like it. It doesn't even have to be good, I like my share of terrible stuff.

Life is too short to take entertainment seriously in that way. Just like what you like. If you want to get serious, then obsess over it. :smrt:

I usually don't keep a lot at my desk either. I like to rotate out desk buddies. I don't like worrying about knocking stuff over and I usually won't mess around with more than one toy at a time anyways.

I won't say anything about the whole aging thing, but I'll do what my dad did.

Keep the most important stuff, keep playing video games, regret nothing. There's other things to worry about in life and if someone has the means and the time to keep up their hobby, then good on em.

If trippy is good, Umineko (crazy long), Steins;Gate, and Chaos;Head are all really good. I think the patch for Steins;Gate was pulled, but I have it. I can figure out how to upload it. It's not really Engrish. Engrish has a purpose. The game is full of errors and lazy translations.

I never realized how many errors are probably in translations until I started trying to learn Japanese. Like, there's a character in the Atelier games with a move called Addel Strike, and I thought the name was weird. Realized it was probably supposed to be Adder Strike, like the snake. Just goofy little things like that.

Definitely, but with Lux-Pain it was just a bunch of spelling errors in the english words themselves, for most of the game. Not usually anything like that where there's a reason.

Later on the words were a jumbled mess that didn't make any sense in English. It was only a conversation or two, but it was like Whao, okay that makes no coherent sense....

The Arland games are so so good. I get so into them and they make me happy and laugh so much. And, with Totori, occasionally cry. Be careful with Totori because it's easy to get the bad ending when playing a normal game, I almost did my first playthrough.

Some local fishermen recently filmed a cougar trying to board their boat.

There was like 8 or 9 men.....and the cougar swam after their boat.

They filmed the whole thing.

Most of them were laughing and taunting the cat....one guy was smart though.

He was yelling and panicking. Especially when it managed to get a paw on board. :laugh:

Seriously, everytime I see "Asian Nazis", I can only wonder if they're taught anything in school about the second world war. I may already have recounted the tale here, but while I was in Germany, there was a cute Japanese student. really nice. One day she came to the Uni and had a less than pleasant welcome. 2 hours later she was crying in the Uni's gardens. me and a friend had a hell of a hard time to explain her that wearing a SS totenkopf uniform in a german university was NOT a good idea. Then we had to explain to her what the SS thing meant to us europeans. She was horrified.

Especially afte I showed her the afternoon a few hand picked video documentaries on the death camps. poor girl had a shitload of Nazi paraphernalia, but thought it was cool because in Asian culture the Swastika doesn't have the same meaning.

I don't even care that the Nazis ruined the swastika, they also ruined those uniforms.

Fuck Nazis. Sometimes I wished the Red Army would have killed more of them on their way in.

I love the first one. Very slick. The actors seem to think so to. If you listen to the commentary, it will go quiet and Damon has to point out they are supposed to be talking instead of just enjoying the film.

Hell yes! 5 out of 5. Didn't have GOTY. Just the main game. It' shits all over GTA IV.
