I swear when I was getting regular paycheques I was picking up about 30 movies a month.

I really like this one (of the Mellenium series).
I even like the sfx in it.
I much prefer the SFX from "Monster Zero" though for Ghidora.

I didn't mind TWINE, very different for David Arnold. It seems every Bond film he worked on, his mood/style changed.
Still good, really dig the Gun barrel for that one. Just love the way he tinkers with the high frequency noises/sfx.

I never really liked Dark Side that much.

I wouldn't say no to Wish or The Wall though if someone were to offer them.

it definitely went under the radar. so did the limey. a lot of great films were overlooked or quickly forgotten in 1999 because there were so many gianormous summer blockbusters that year that swept smaller films aside.

Barry is really great, I can listen to his stuff all day.
But Im from the new generations lol, so DA really tunes me in with his adaptive styles over the years.
Certainly much better than what he did for Godzilla.

One of the main reasons I loved the Bond films when I was a kid was hearing the dramatic music Barry played.
To me, it's all like action music. But in slow motion. With emotional depth and spans over a multitude of feelings.

My most favorite score of his is The Black Hole.

In a way, Hans Zimmer's work for Inception really reminds me of Barry. If you were to slow down action music, you'd get Barry's themes.
I'm not good with recognizing musical instruments in an orchestra, but when it comes to Barry, there's no mistaking his style and selection for an orchestra.

If Jablonsky goes back to his Island and Transformers (2007 only) origins, I can see him working in that area.
I was really hoping Jablonsky would've done Terminator Salvation, nothing against Danny Elfman, but I think that movie would've kept Jablonsky on track and not stray away like he did for TF2.

I really like a lot of that stuff too. More atmospheric than developing.

Same. His Medal Of Honor scores are absolutely fantastic. 4 to 5 star scores for me.

Lye, I take back what I said about action scores. These are an exception.

These scores (particularly "Frontline") are wonderful examples of modern action scoring. Granted he does use a lot Williams-isms. But still.....it's wonderful writing.

I was ready to completly trash the guy for my film score blog.....then I heard "Your Highness" and it changed.

That score put my faith back into him.

"The Island Awaits You" and "My Name Is Lincoln" are the two cues I LOVE from that score. The rest I could do without.

Never heard this before. It was okay. Chessy but fun. Reminds me of something but I can�t place what. Pretty good.

2. ROLLING IN THE DEEP / Adele
Love Adele, as you know. Welsh girl done good. Ate all the pies. Astonishing voice. Good stuff.

3. HALO / Beyonce
Beyonce isn�t for me. This track was more tolerable than her usual assault on my senses. I admit I did skip it halfway through.

4. LA PARED / Shakira
First time I�ve heard her. I expected an angry pop assault like Slutina Aguilera from the pictures I�ve seen of her.
Sounded a little like Origa at times. Made me want to listen to Origa. :laugh:

Naruto is one of those nothing happens for 100 episodes than there's some big cliffhanger only to go back to square one than it jumps ahead a couple of years.
