in the worst mood =/ Kindle is awesome and the book I've been reading (not on my Kindle) is fantastic so far. Need to get pics of the inside for people, I'll go check Amazon. And Green Wake came out yesterday and it's always so good. Just can't stop being miserable. Which makes me pissed at myself because I should really be enjoying myself, right now. I don't know what I really want, besides a new apartment. I'm the only one here anyways. Time to make more coffee~ I swear I'm such a fucking optimist that I can't be unhappy properly, I still want to talk about the things that are good. XD I would probably feel better if I properly raged or at least wallowed in my misery for a while.

I have a folder of portraits like that. A lot of them seem to be of children. It's very sad but the idea behind them is fascinating to me. It really drives home how special photos once were.

It was still difficult to cut it down to that. I had 3 more paragraphs in there that went into more detailed aspects of the series but was getting borderline spoilery so it was probably for the best.

This playlist started out on an old youtube like site for audio files which is long gone now. That place was the start of my music mix fun time and I’ll probably pump out a few others form that time but right now it’s pirates.
The main reason this one took so damn long is not just finding the songs but figuring out what order to put them in. After finding a few cool new tracks I’d play them along with the rest I’ve accumulated. But only when I felt like it lest I become board with everything and not complete or worse not make it as good as it could. Right now I could go months without listening to it again simply because I’ve heard it so much so you get the idea why setting it up took so long.
The song order was very important to me since as I played everything things just didn’t feel “good” like there was a lot of filler or no real direction. So I decided on making sure I had a good opening and a powerful ending. (I guess that’s how I do most of my mixes) I already kinda wanted the Muppets to be the start but everything else was up in the air. I decided that whatever the order would be I should try to space some things out so songs by the same artist, songs with “Yo Ho” in them, short songs, long songs, funny songs, and “epic” songs would not all be clustered together and have some space between.
With that as a guide line I needed a powerful ending and “Singapore”, “Weird Beard”, “He’s A Pirate”, were the most likely until I finally found which “15 Men on a Dead Man’s Chest” I wanted to use and it was glorious. “Queen Anne’s Revenge” & “Gruesome Death of Edward Teach” went together. After setting the ending and lining up the beginning I had a weird middle with the more violent and sad sounding songs fallowed by all the cartoon songs. So some more reordering was needed. It’s still kinda there but not as bad. I also had to drop some songs but I feel what’s here is the best of what I had.
The file images for the most part are straight forward with the ones that didn’t have a definite one kinda rotated around each other. I wasn’t able to find or use some of the pics I wanted but I’m happy with the ones I got.
The cover was the skull from one image cut/pasted over the another skull and then I uploaded it to photobucket and added the text and put some type of effect to it so it was not just white and helped with making it look like something not totally tossed together.
I have to say I’m very pleased with how this turned out.

in the worst mood =/ Kindle is awesome and the book I've been reading (not on my Kindle) is fantastic so far. Need to get pics of the inside for people, I'll go check Amazon. And Green Wake came out yesterday and it's always so good. Just can't stop being miserable. Which makes me pissed at myself because I should really be enjoying myself, right now. Choose your favorite Christmas or anti-Christmas song to be included in a "festive" year-end holiday collection to be enjoyed by all for years (days?) to come.

Remember: Anyone who posts in this thread is allowed one (1) submission, so even if :cat: or Amaury were to post something, I would have to include it. I could go a tangent about how none of them have any significant value or how it's just one of many areas in my life in which I feel exorbitant, excessive, and like I'm just going through the motions, but fuck it.

My e-peen is ginormous.

What I care about is if the camera can handle different framerates for different countries.
AND can shoot at high-speed framerates (300+) for home-use slow-motion.
WITHOUT the crap jerkiness or the motion blurr or crap.
Not the cheap simulation of slow-motion, but actually HD slow-motion.
Pure high-definition fidelity.
Too many friends complain about their cameras having poor results for high-framerate recording/playback.
Would be nice to see an algorithm work for HFR (high-framerate) and compatibility for different regions with different screen-synchronicity: NTSC/PAL/SECAM.
I mean, sure, for NTSC-Film (24000/1001 with 2:3 pulldown), 300FR looks good for slow motion. Feck, might even be higher for today's standards.
I'm not sure what Inception films their slow-motion scenes at what framerate.
But I remember back when Jet Li was doing Romeo Must Die, the commentary was talking about 300+ FR for the slow motion Jet Li and then very short/choppy FR for the background environment.

I don't know why that didn't catch on. It was a nice scene, imo.

Anyways, I think they touch on the delusional paratosis thing in the Higurashi anime, but they spend a lot more time on it in the game. It's creepsome stuff. The game doesn't always have the greatest pacing (so much time spent on club games it's ridiculous), but I think you'd enjoy them. They're all in English. If you have an iPhone you can even get them on there!

Would be nice to see an algorithm work for HFR (high-framerate) and compatibility for different regions with different screen-synchronicity: NTSC/PAL/SECAM.
I mean, sure, for NTSC-Film (24000/1001 with 2:3 pulldown), 300FR looks good for slow motion. Feck, might even be higher for today's standards.
I'm not sure what Inception films their slow-motion scenes at what framerate.
But I remember back when Jet Li was doing Romeo Must Die, the commentary was talking about 300+ FR for the slow motion Jet Li and then very short/choppy FR for the background environment.

The game doesn't always have the greatest pacing (so much time spent on club games it's ridiculous), but I think you'd enjoy them. They're all in English. If you have an iPhone you can even get them on there!

What do you use to capture the clip and turn it to gif?

I download YouTube videos as MP4s with KeepVid, convert them AVI with Ojosoft, clip them down to a manageable size with AVI splitter, and gif them with Ulead. It's less time consuming than it sounds. Usually.

I recommend listening to their disc Audio first. The Complex is the other disc I have and it features guest singers so it doesn't give you the proper Blue Man feel if you listen to that first. I can share them with you if you like.
