Some will be in the corner having a drink with each other, some will be taped to chairs at a table, with cards laid out in front of them. I'll never tell people about the room and will hope they stumble upon it on their own. When they inevitably spew out something like "WTF", I'll respond by shushing them and telling them that my friends are having a party. I've never played Skyrim. Heard it's insanely buggy but everyone seems to like it anyway. Worth trying when it's cheap, maybe?

I've only seen my bf play it on 360 and it does have its fair share of bugginess, but it's a charming sort of bugginess that only serves to make more laughs. :laugh: Before the first patch came through the textures on the dragons wouldn't load up and it was so bizarre to watch this big grey blob of plastic breathing fire at you :laugh: The game's hilarious~ You could spend a hundred hours doing everything and nothing at the same time. Roam the world, do what you want, and never have to touch the main quest :laugh:

All the bethesda games are like that. Nature of the game given the huge amount of crap you can do. Only New Vegas was really gamebreaking. I still play Oblivion and have yet to actually finish anything other than the Mages and Fighters Guild quests. Definitely worth it when it's on the cheap. My friend ended up buying Oblivion 3 times. Once for 360 then RROD, again for 20 bucks on PS3 and again when he just bought a new laptop.

It's one of my favorite DS games! I'm partial to adventure games to begin with, and it's written by the Ever 17 guy! :D Which probably isn't a big selling point, considering how badly Ever 17 did here. :laugh:

It's a really good game. I'm so excited about the sequel for reasons I can't say without spoiling the true end of 999. I've avoided spoilers since it came out in Japan but have done a lot of speculating based on character art.

I was supposed to get a DS, but then I decided all I would play would be Pokemans.

I got to about level 30 something without any crashes from a clean save post patch.

I don't mind crashes/freezes so much. 3 crashed a regular amount on me. It's the weird, weird shit. Game/Questbreaking and otherwise.

What do you mean? Better UI, music, graphics, physics engine, better commentators, and better AI. What's broken supposedly?

360 version at least- Graphics were far worse. Nasty looking smudging around sprites when they move in cut scenes. Hit detection was awful. One guy touches another guy, they both fall flat. Call for pass plays, no one to pass to. A lot of those same problems....

I've thought about getting Gamefly, but I'm not sure I play games fast enough to justify it. Would be a nice way to get myself to play stuff I wouldn't ordinarily play, though.

I suppose that could be a way for me to play those games you recommended.

Played the demo on the PS3 on all pro so the running didn't work at all (played as the Gnats). The DBs actually cover receivers naturally now instead of sticking to them like magnets and the hit detection was far better than last year. The game looked cleaner than last year, as in a lot better than last years PS3 version (which looked worse than the 360 version).
