Watched "The Reader", the first 1/3 of the movie was kind of boring, but the last 2/3 of it was pretty good.

I'm probably one of the few remaining people who still finds Shyamalan's work genius. I loved the Twilight Zone twist ending in the Village (even though it was ruined for me the day before I saw it), I thought Lady in the Water was his best and most personal work yet, and I was the only one left in the audience after The Happening who wasn't cursing the screen and saying "This movie sucks." The Last Airbender, ironically, is his one work I'm least interested in, since it obviously isn't his source material. But of course I'll watch it just because he's such a master filmmaker and can make anything seem watchable.
