rather, do two more halves. then chop one out. bound to make something to splay your nuts to the open public.

it's like cooking! always make more just in case of unexpected guests break into your house. instead of giving them jewelry, money and your wife's flower, give them a tasty roast instead :) then blow that fuckers brains all over the fine china. :)

Tony whistles the Sextet everytime he's about to kill someone.

(See above for The Departed)

a different part of the opera is played when Lydia Deetson is writing the suicide note.

My battery is going to die, I should charge it. :erm:

Cukoo's batteries died once. I replaced them, like a good friend.

I couldn't find the flap to the battery compartment in his back but there was a large hole in his underside so I shoved them forcibly in there.

That perked him right up.

If it happened after 11 then I am not liable. I was in that doze off haze where everything is funny.

Sadly it's not quite as effective on the guitar.

I can give it a twangy sound depending on where I pluck the strings. Just not as great as the banjo.

They were my drug buddies. We had the same hobbies and addictions so we spent entire weekends together. People didn't even go home.

On-line play killed that. :notgood:

Good times. Good times.

Doom was the game of choice.

Sometimes we'd have 4 TVs and 2 games going at once. Utter chaotic wall of sound.

I wonder if HJU know how many of their smilies we've stolen. I should get drunk and go tell them.

I can't stand Scarface but I recognize it's quality. 4 out of 5. Worth a look at.

I love Scorsese's The Departed so much. Such good stuff. One of the rare cases where I like it better than the original. Definitely worth a watch.

The best families are the ones you make for yourself.

They refused to play with me after awhile because I always won. I think the worst blister culprit was Mario Party 3 that had the river rapids mini game. Blood was shed.

It was pretty common for me to win all the awful, hand-killing mini-games, but wind up losing the whole shebang. I'm not particularly competitive, so it doesn't matter, really. I'm not sure why I was so willing to kill my hand to win.

I liked Soul Calibur IV. Killik, the guy with the stick was my fave.

Soul Cal is the best :D My fondest memories are of I and II, but that's more about the people I had to play with than anything else.

There's this hippie town in Vermont called Brattleboro I used to live in. It's a goofy little town, has legal public nudity, a radio station anyone can sign up and do a show on, lots of crazy shops, that sort of thing. For whatever reason, the town is full of white kids who have decided that living in a hippie town in Vermont makes them "in da ghetto", and they make it their mission to act like lame-o characters from a Michael Bay movie.

Anyways, I was there when Soul Cal II came out and I would get to play these guys who'd freak out every time I beat them and yell stuff like "SHIT THAT LITTLE GIRL JUST MERC'D ME" and it was the most fun I ever had winning at anything.

I worked at Toys R Us when the Soul Cal came out for the Dreamcast. We had two systems set-up side by side for people in the store to demo the game. After we finished closing at night, we'd have mini tourneys inside the store. It was what I'd always dreamed working in a toy store would be like. I wish we'd been able to do that for more games.

We messed around with the Hey You Pikachu demo a lot too. Mostly because that game was turrible.

Yup. That one comes direct from MGM. It took in $231 mil but was still a loss. Must have been more costs behind the scenes. Promotion probably cost a shedload, too. It was everywhere. If they signed the actors to a pay-or-play for the next two they are even more fuckered.

I liked Soul Calibur IV. Killik, the guy with the stick was my fave.
Good starter character. Keeps them at a distance so they have to work to strike. People call that cheap, but I call it picking a better weapon. I like Kilik, but I probably play better with Nightmare. Also decent with a number of other characters. Hilde is fun, but a bit challenging to use.

It was pretty common for me to win all the awful, hand-killing mini-games, but wind up losing the whole shebang. I'm not particularly competitive, so it doesn't matter, really. I'm not sure why I was so willing to kill my hand to win.

Every game has a trick that will let you win 95% of the time. I was just better at finding them. Also wasn't shy from screwing other players.

This would sound magical without all the whiteys.

Cool...

I volunteer to make you a mommy.

I did that once. One of my then-friends (he was asian) wanted to go see movies all the time. so three of us planned on going to see a movie 6:45pm.
i showed up stoned, bought the ticket, stood in line for popcorn, saw them outside the theater telling me they got the time wrong. (which wasn't a first for that asian dimwit) they had already seen the movie i was going to (Mr and Mrs Smith), i said fuck them, i paid, im seeing this movie.
and you know what? i enjoyed it more than i enjoyed that asians company.

I remember this site. Pulp Fiction in chronological order.
Stuff like that.

You really have to read all the reasoning why some fans did their edits the way they did  :doc: :roflspock:

Some of them just get right into it "I didn't like this scene, 2 seconds of nothing. I felt it really dragged the story down a lot so I removed it ;169:"
It's almost as if most of them are aspiring director-wannabes :roflbalok: :joker lightning:

There's a notorious Phantom Edit out there of the Phantom Menace. A lot of the poor diolog cut out, scenes cut to allow the action to start right away, significant cuts of jar jar boobs.
COMPLETE WITH EDITOR COMMENTARY!!! :roflheston: :changspew:

I downloaded it, watched it, saw all the cuts and edits. The commentary is goddamned adorable.
:willy wonka you must be new:

For a hardcore fan to go through such measures to edit the movie, you'd think they'd at least have the vocabulary or even a remote sense of communication/dialog if they're going to be doing a commentary.

A lot of "um" "ahh" "and" "the" :joker lightning:

It was 5 of us renting one house.

It lasted for about 5 months and we were evicted.

Had 3 TVs set up in a place I once lived for similar reasons. Usually one played TV/movies, the other two played games.

We didn't get evicted but one of my ex-roomies owes me something like $600.

Really? The budget was 90 mill and the box office was like 200 something million.

They probably spent a crazyton on marketing.

Not surprising at all it didn't do that well. Feel like most people who wanted to see it saw the original film. The audience of people unwilling to watch subs is not as big as Hollywood seems to think it is. Believe the American remake of Let the Right One In bombed for similar reasons.

This would sound magical without all the whiteys.

They are part of the fun. I have had so many laughs at their expense.

Once, I randomly wound up hanging out with this two guys for the night who overheard me talking about Cervantes with my friend. They were awesome, I wish we'd gotten to hang out again. We walked by these kids, one of whom said "fo shizzle". One of the guys immediately snapped around and asked "Who the fuck says for shizzle?". One of the girls tried to say "if you in da ghetto", after which we informed them they lived in Brattleboro, Vermont, and laughed a lot.

I've know people like that who were real assholes, but in Brattleboro, they're mostly just comical. One of my best friends there would always try to answer people with "a'ight', but he couldn't really say it right. He'd keep on trying, though. In Brattleboro, they're plucky about their basic thugonomics.

Haven't bothered with Blue Velvet on Blu-ray yet.

Just came out a few months ago me thinks.

I'll look into it.

Not one of my favorite Lynch films for some reason.

Haven't seen it since the mid-90's though.

I'll try it again.

Blue Velvet is one of my favorite films of all time.

I love the ending so very much. And it's a sick, twisted, and beautiful movie in general. Just great Lynch.

I go to movies alone. Going out anywhere at 10 in the morning on a weekday is fucking sublime.

I almost never go to the movies alone, but this is less about anxiety and more because it's kind of a pain to go to the movies, and I'm unlikely to go unless someone wants me to go with them. I only do it if there's something I really really want to see and I can't talk anyone else into going.

I'm weird about going to concerts alone. I wish I wasn't. So many shows I've missed out on since I moved here because I had no one to go with. I should just suck it up and try, when I'm a little closer to some venues. Something cheap so I don't feel bad if I hate it and leave.

I am pretty loose in my definitions. Stuff like Happiness of the Katakuris or Rushmore are shelved there, and I definitely don't think of them as outright comedies. I just want it to be easy to find what I'm in the mood for. All animated stuff is together regardless of genre.

- Financed mostly by Pink Floyd and Lep Zeppelin
- One of Elvis's Favorite movies
- TO the point he knew some of the dialogs by heart

Also discovered Heff had more or less funded the first monty Python movie, "And now for something completely different".

Only thing I did know was that Chapman was one hell of an alcoholic. seems it has been one hell of an hectic shooting...

Still more stuff I want to do in the game. Didn't beat one of the optional bosses and I haven't seen the dialogue for a couple characters when they win a contest. But, I think I'm done with it for now. Never would've done it if the True End requirements weren't so insane, but I feel pretty damned accomplished.

My Facebook updating screwed up for my last trophies. :( They're there for people who are my friends on PSN to see but I wanted to show it off. Don't know if there's anyway I can get it up there now.

Incidentally, the last trophy was the most irritating to get, but resulted in really fun story stuff. Opened an alchemy-run bar/restaurant~

But really, what's the point of going to see a bunch of acquaintance and people you didn't really like and pretending you're all friends, or something? It seems so awkward.

There are a couple folks from high school I really, really miss, but they either probably wouldn't have gone or weren't in my year. Or went to another school. I have a better chance of getting back in contact with these people via the internet, really.

Let's give this a go...
MITCH MALLOY / Ceilings & Walls (1994)

Despite Malloy's brief stint as singer for Van Halen this is pretty far from that and what I was expecting. The whole album is sappy poetry that seems it should be written in a teenage girl's notebook. I should have been tipped off with its tagline, "You've heard these songs before, but until now they were only in your heart." :BARF: "We run from ceilings and walls"... what does that even mean? Speak for yourself, Mitch. It could have been saved if he mixed it up a bit instead of all cheesy faux-ballads and while bland it is at least technically competent. I would rather hear more of that pianist in the background.
