If you create a database you could apply various tags to each film. Check IMDB or WIKI to see what they have and if you agree then add it. Then when you click on a genre it'll bring up everything.

Eg. Akira = Anime, Sci-Fi, Action, etc. It'll appear when you click either of those tags. And you can keep the results in alphabetical order with a database. They are a little tricky if you've never used one before but you can find tutorials online.

Make TITLE the title of the first column. Put the film names in here, one to each cell.

The next columns can be the genre. Column 2 can be ACTION, column 3 ANIME etc. You can have as many as you want.

You can sort the fields alphabetically, or clicking on the header will make all the films with ANIME go to the top.

I know that sounds really confusing but once you see it in action it makes sense.
You don't need to type all the films in to see how it works, 5 or 6 is enough.

If you don't have Accel I'd recommend Open Office, it's free and is very good.

What I needed was to view older word docs using word 2007. I just needed to go into the options and poke around until I found a drop menu and change it from default to everything. Or something like that.

I have Word 2007. :D I'm glad I never had to that. It even opens RTF for me which is cool.

When you save a file you can get the drop-down thing too and save in the .doc or .docx format. If you save the very same document in both the .doc and .docx the latter is a lot smaller, but if you send it to someone with an older version they'll need the plug-in to open it and they may not be able to save in docx if they edit it, I'm not sure about that.

I just wanted to mention those little bits with Gotou. I think

it's a lot more interesting to have him want to fight, but to have both Dr. Maki and Birth be so alien to the way he wants to fight. I hope he doesn't wind up giving in and working with Maki to become a rider, I want him to become a rider in his own way! Using some ancient power, like OOO.

With Akira, I'm getting the feeling that he's going to be acting like a butt some of the time, but more because he just has a completely different view of this stuff than everyone else does. The manual bit is actually really good because it works with how distanced from things he seems when he fights. He's just doing it by the book and following instructions, and doesn't have any sort of emotional investment and things. Eiji, Ankh, and Gotou are all pretty passionate in their own ways, so I think it's a neat contrast.

My favorite bit of the episode was Hina's present to Ankh. He just seemed so pleased, storing his medals in there. I've read spoilers that the two of them are going to wind up becoming close. Hope they're true because there's such fantastic story stuff that can be done with that.

Maybe I'm just a little biased to amicable relationships between primary and secondary riders because of W and Accel and was hoping for super happy funtimes between them right away. You're right that it's an interesting dynamic to have them working at odds because of employment reasons (I imagine there's some of this going on in Kabuto?). I definitely want Gotou to be a rider on his own terms.

The medal case bit is a beautiful example of how far toku shows go beyond their toy selling purpose. ^^I don't think you're being biased with Ankh at all. I think if Gamel will still around (or if he's not gone for good), there's a lot of potential for him joining the cause of the good guys, but that's more because of his stupid yet sweet nature than anything else. I can't wait to see what happens with him in the coming episodes. And the movie opening stuff has me so geeked up for Movie Core. Got to have something to wait for now that A to Z is out. ;)

In some ways, I can see how Terror could work as a zero for the same reasons we talked about him not being that much fun as a toy! He could just stand their in the corner, looking Terror-y, and your actual posable characters could react. But with Taboo and Claydoll, you're going to want to pose them, to set up fights! They just feel so useless as statues.

I got a copy of O, Brother Where Art Thou. :) Looking forward to that. Just watched Scott Pilgrim. It was video game geek friendly but not as good as I'd hoped outside of playing spot the sound effect.

I bought Scott Pilgrim last week. Blockbuster has the best deals (4 for $20 and 2 for $20). I'm not buying anymore blu rays, so it's nice to get lots of dvds for cheap :)

Apatow tv is much better than Apatow movies, though I still enjoy several Apatow movies. Freaks and Geeks is one of the most true to life shows ever made, in my opinion.

Apatow movies and TV shows are seem to be real people doing stupid real things.

There's nothing outrageous about them, unlike Kick-Ass which seems to smack you in the face with it's humor.

Another thing I like about Apatow is that he doesn't hire the "pretty people". Most of his stars aren't really all that physically attractive at all and that makes them all the more real to me.

I really like this book, so I hope he doesn't schmuck it up.

Shyamalan was gonna do it originally but dropped it because of the twist ending. I guess he didn't want to be that "twist ending" guy or didn't want the ending ruined because people would expect it from the "twist ending guy".

"Prisoner Of Azkaban" director, Alfonso Cuar�n was up next, but dropped it to do "Children Of Men".

Then "Amelie" and "The City of Lost Children" director (and genius :)) Jean-Pierre Jeunet was up to bat, but dropped it as as well.

Ang Lee is not a surprising choice....i can't say I'm awfully fond of most of his work, but who knows? Maybe he'll make Pi a gay cowboy, glide atop the tree tops or a nice fluorescent green.

To be fair, I quite liked Lee's stylistic approach to Hulk. It was heavily flawed, but there was something about it I enjoyed too. The Ice Storm was pretty good as well.

I've tried to defend Hulk in the past for the same reasons. :) It's not a good film when the cgi kicks in but it is stylistically different from the rest of the Marvel films.

I loved Crouching Tiger... and Lust, Caution.

In other exciting news a friend has season one of that Breaking Bad you told me about. I'll get it off him next time I see him.

Dear Nintendo,

Stop making gay wii games that have you shaking a baby and start using a real orchestra for y our music and not synth all the time.

The book had a pretty good finisher for that fight.

Personally I think that Scott Pilgrim should have been a 2 parter like Kill Bill. part 1 ends with the Clash at Demonhead finale and part 2 picks up with Scott "getting things together only to have them fall apart for the finally. Everything was so great that all the problems would have been solved by simply adding more screen time for stuff to happen.

Ramona was a bit too passive, Roxie wasn't as big a deal, the Twins barely did anything, Scott & Kim was blown over, Knives' father, Ramona actually becoming buddies with Scott's friends, Envy Addams was an even bigger deal.....

But considering how terrible it did in theaters I guess it was for the best that the whole thing was done in one movie or else we may not have gotten to see the end. Why didn't more people see this thing?

I have some stuff he did with Moby, Fox Bat Strategy and the Danger Mouse/Sparklehorse project.

The Air Is On Fire was music he made to accompany an art exhibition. It's just that crazy Lynch drone. I also have Au Revoir Simone & David Lynch - Upstairs At The Square. It's an interview with the man with music interludes by Au Revoir Simone (whoever they are).

The soundtrack is great. I bought one for my parents for X-mas a few years ago............after they played it, I had to go out and get my own copy.

I'm not so familiar with that sound though. I wouldn't know where to start when it comes to looking for more.

I think that's the only "part".

There is no disc 2.........just strangely labeled "part 1".....i guess because all the other uploads there were broken up into parts, perhaps the blog author was on a sexy "part" roll.

Mine has 8 tracks that run for about 56 mins total, in 320kbs.
A second disc is mentioned here (http://www.discogs.com/David-Lynch-The-Air-Is-On-Fire/release/1162912) but it seems to be an interview that runs for 44.10.

I just converted the FLAC to MP3 and now instead of 137 MB it's 133MB.....not a big difference. weird.

Usually pictures don't make much of a difference......it would usually add a few KBs which is even smaller.

I haven't a clue.

I've pretty much been playing 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors nonstop, but now that I have all the endings there's not really a reason to play anymore. ; ; Not sure what I should work on next. Should probably stop neglecting my PS3. ; ; It's just that the DS has been having such a good string of games!

I'm always appalled at how tiny the selection of PSP games is at the stores :O It's like, does anybody even buy these?! Then I just remember; oh yea, PSN.

The PSP has a much better game line-up than looking at a store would lead you to believe. If you like strategic gameplay I'd definitely suggest picking up Jeanne D'arc and Valkyria Chronicles II.
