Once I added the avi files I had to give the OUTPUT file a name. There is a button for that.

It only saves as mp4 or 3 gp though. So your avi will become an mp4.

Work on the styles over the years.
Williams and Goldsmith living the reputation and starting the modern phase of score.
You can go further back with the origins. Um. Whatshisface. Hermann.
Psycho. Hitchcock.
The ladder of score has come a long way.

The foundations set in the early period of the 20th century.
Then aspiring artists started coming out of the woods to roam free and naked.
Elfman, Young, Shore, Alan Howarth & John Carpenter.
Taking on new dimensions of film score and paving the road for even newer artists.
Jablonsky, Bates :laugh:, Tyler :swoon:, Jackman :love:, and so on and so forth.

The style range from traditional composition with a real orchestra while others like to play with synth and develop a surreal environment for the movies.
Some like themes, others work with the motion on screen, while others work with the emotion on screen, and while even more others will like to play with atmosphere/moods.
Jablonsky for A Nightmare On Elm Street developed an atmospheric score more than a thematic work like Young and others have for the earlier renditions of Freddy.
Angelo Badalementi also likes to work with drones, synth and the like to draw out a creepy vibe and make you both unsettled and drawn to the nature of the movie.
Underdogs like Eric Serra are beyond comprehension to the normal film score lovers.
He's so in tune with his work and how he relates to the director.
It's so subtle, it's almost like the score wasn't meant for that movie.

At first glance, Eric Serra doesn't seem fitting for James Bond. Most would say John Barry, Bill Conti and David Arnold. But bring up Eric Serra and Goldeneye, you'll immediately see the respect that is given in their eyes.
He's not the first one you think of. He's also not the last one you listen to.

Odd artists are the best. Francois Tetaz for Rogue (2007) used unique instruments to bring out the human nature and the violent nature of the wild rivers of Australia.
The special features on the DVD go on to show that he took a cactus and used the thorns as the string elements for some of the compositions.
He also worked with hard shells and water for some of the rhythmical-bass "swoops" you hear every so often in the score.
More melodic in nature. Strong themes, captivating flow.

And there's more.
Oh so much more.

Paul Haslinger and Conrad Pope and Danny Elfman. What happens when time is constrained and other projects take up precious dedication.
Marco Beltrami and directors. Danny Elfman and directors. What happens when a director has "artistic differences" with the composer than has to replace the original score composer.
(Ask Cuckoo, he loves those stories :laugh:)

Set everything to "Copy".

CTRL+S for "Save Video".

No mention of AVI.

Knauf declined, saying that he couldn't wrap up the series in 4 hours....

I think I'll use a couple of the things you've given me so far. having a few more options for tv, cartoons, and video games would be good if you have them on hand. Heavy subtext stuff is kinda tricky. While I was doing this I realized that nothing in Zelda is true cannon and looking at Eva I have so little Misato & Kaji stuff yet I feel that Shinji with either of the 2 girls is sorta cannon. I don't know if I'd be ignoring my aim with this if I included anything from those 2 series or not. I was also thinking about this for FLCL

Install, start, open first file, "Append" next file and so on until they are all there.
Set everything to "Copy".

CTRL+S for "Save Video".
Make sure to add the extension... :erm: still has that wee little issue.

It didn't work for me either.

It supports a lot of formats.
But when I try to google the Codec ID of the AVI's ("mp42") with yamb and mp4.... I see some people with the same problem and no answers.
Just suggestions to different programs and different formats.
Most people are working with MKV and MP4.
No mention of AVI.
