Hey cuckers, I finally got a chance to review those three discs of "The Music of Marco Beltrami." That shit was "off the hook, son," as the teenyboppers these days are fond of saying. I didn't realize what a versatile composer he is; you have thoroughly and convincingly converted me to the camp of Beltrami. I'm going to give them another listen just to let it all sink in, but yeah, great work. :)

Yeah Marco's been scoring "V" they are up to episode 3 now I guess.
The show's kind of "meh" I think, this third episode was kind of treading water a lot of wasted time.

i don't really like it......i had high hopes for it....but it's just too rushed and the characters aren't interesting at all. As far as I know, Beltrami's scored 4 episodes.

after several failed pitches to sell the "shoot the shit" to another forum, budarc & cuckoo are finally left on the curb

Episode five was fantastic and six was also good.

EDIT: nevermind on The Prisoner...I just read some reviews.....not too popular is it? 15 out of 45 people liked it....the others hated it...no "meh..it was okay"s

No one liked the original Prisoner that much either. It demands the viewer looks at things differently.
You should check out season 2 episode 5 and 6 of TCW though, very kick ass.
The first 4 weren't bad at all either.
I haven't watched episode 2 of the prisoner yet, but I plan on giving it a chance.

yeah....i read The Prisoner just doesn't lead to any real conclusions...i'm cool with that. The original never really did either. I remember watching that show as kid with a high fever.....i didn't know what drugs were back then, but i thinked i discovered 'tripping out' at a really early age.

yeah....i can play FLAC it's but just on WavePad and that's by individual tracks.....so you can imagine that it's a giant pain the arse.....so it's easiest if i just recode 'em into MP3s.........and i've been wanting this one for quite some time. I have the DVD-rip, but most of the tracks are less than a minute long and there's about 32 of them....so this album presentation will be great.

it took me ages to see the movie....had had enough J-Lo hype around that time...no matter how hot her ass is....but when i finally saw it {the movie},was pleasantly surprised....and music...as far as i remember was "nice" for that movie !

yeah....the movie was so-so in my books....wasn't quite what i expecting......it seemed a little messy at points....i wasn't too sure what to think of it.......although some of the imagery was pretty cool and so was the general idea....i dunno....there was just something wrong with it. the characters perhaps?

but the music is pretty cool......i throw the DVD-rip main titles on alot of mixes i make for people....half of them hate it. :-P

while i'm recoding The Cell into MP3 i can't help but notice the audio waves on each track....really weird. it looks there's going to be some softer more dissonant cues then some really loud noisy ones too. :-P

but i'm happy with the length of the tracks...most are around 2 minutes but i 've come across one that's 5:00! which is a vast improvement from the 45 seconds cues :)

I was thinking an undead cuckoo would shuffle slowly forward with a taquilla bottle in his left hand filled with brownish liquid that is probably not taquilla with a single flower in it that was pulled up by it's root. Cuckoo would be missing a single tooth on the top of his teeth that makes his speech whistle a little when he talks. Behind him he leaves a little dirt trail and little bits of earth fall off of him at all times. He's still wearing the cuckoo bird costume except for the head and his skin is a strange aqua blue-green. He's also only wearing one shoe and his bare foot can also be seen to be aqua blueish green.
