Subbed stuff usually doesn't have a chance in hell, and the audience it will attract will be kids (who already hate reading to begin with), and then I'm sure there are loads of cultural references that will just fly over everyone's heads. It would stand the same chance as if Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia was aired subbed on Japanese TV subbed.
I don't think that show would work even if you reshot it with Japanese actors.
