Tigertail is a long story it has several meanings: I like to tell "tales" through my art, I have a bit of a temper so its like catching the proverbial tiger by the tail, and I had a sort of supernatural experience with tigers (that is the long story part).

one fine day i was going for a walk in 1996......to the side of the road was a dead bird...someone had written on a piece of torn cardboard, laying beside it: "dead cuckoo" with some arrows pointing at the dead bird.

Thus the name of my first band was named "dead cuckoo"......i was the singer and guitarist, so for some stupid reason ppl called me "dead cuckoo".......eventually, the dead was dropped and cuckoo stuck......and that's the story of cuckoo.....

I had a friend that told me he could paint pictures with his mind and he wanted to prove it to me and another friend. So we all gathered in the bathroom the darkest room in the house and held hands (very much like a seance). He then said to concentrate on a simple object and he would make it appear in the air in front of us. So I have always loved egyptian stuff and decided to start with a pyaramid. Lo and behold there was indeed a sort of ghostly image in the air in front of us of a pyramid. So my friend was next and he started to try and make a castle. Suddenly they both turned to me angry and said it was not my turn to make it stop and go away. I had no idea what they were talking about and got a little peeved they were angry at me for no apparent reason. Then they got angrier and kind of scared and said STOP IT NOW! I turned and looked and saw the paws of a tiger sort of leap over me and into a sort of vortex and the last thing I saw was its tail.

I have taken it since then that this was my guardian and I feel safe and comfortable with the idea of it being around.

Well it was more than just that... that was sort of the nail in the coffin so to speak that made me really take a look at my life. In looking back I have always been fascinated by tigers, and I know they have always been my protection from those other bad supernatural experiences I just never realized it at the time.

Thanks the overly bright colors actually stem from 2 things: my glasses are tinted, and I grew up wearing Hawaiian shirts a lot so you know naturally I am inclined towards saturated colors. :)

I've read a lot about Native American cultures and their rites of passage and animal totems...it's all very fascinating stuff. I did my own "spirit journey" to find my protector...and I guess it's the rabbit. Well, it could be worse...it could be the cockroach. ;)

Actually the rabbit is a very good totem to have... very wise and swift. I have not gotten too much into native american stuff, but I do find it fascinating. I like a lot really old cultures magicks. I do not actively practice it right now but hopefully in the future.

Yeah the guys who do webcomics weekly at the above link wrote a book on making webcomics too its available at most major bookstores. I picked up mine at Barnes and Noble its well worth getting.

The T-shirts, buttons and stickers are pretty much right around the corner.....i'm actually looking forward to producing those.

Yeah I am saving up money for the equipment to produce my own stuff and cut out the middle man so I can get a higher profit margin: going to get a heat press to make my own shirts, and a pro buttom maker plus a vinyl plotter which will also cut cardstock and other thin materials. The only problem is I am not a web savvy person... my friend made my site but he is too busy so I have to find other means. I do print design, but not web.

Between my Dad's collection and mine we have over 6,000 titles on VHS. This is just one wall full. We do watch them but not as much as we do the DVD's.

Our DVD collection is not quite as impressive with a total around 850 titles which include full season collections of some of our favorite TV shows.

LOL a thong eh? Watching Independance Day has never been quite the same after seeing it for the first time on a 150 degree movie screen in full 5.1 surround sound like I saw it when it was originally released. The place was called the Cinema 150 in Little Rock which is sadly long gone.
