Art Spiegelman is great. If you haven't read Maus I'd recommended it. I haven't rread Ghost World but I love the film so I really should seek out the book.

We teach kids cursive and then within not even a year they're allowed to go back to printing, which is what we should all do. Give the kids 5 minutes to come up with a signature and then never speak of cursive again. Only time you need cursive at all.

It was such a great episode for Ankh. ^^ Mostly, I'm excited about Gotou working there because it's a great opportunity for him to develop stronger relationships with the rest of the cast, and for interactions like that one.

I get the feeling that Ankh getting his medals could actually be part of what brings him and Hina closer together? Like if he chooses to stay in that form and keep her brother from dying even though he doesn't have to.

Of course, Ankh would come up with some excuse of why this is the best thing for him to do, because he's Ankh. Hopefully, it'd involve popsicles.

I think mainly it bothers me because I want to see him in some position of power. With some pride. Yes, I do want it both ways. I want Ankh to be able to make fun of him, but I also want him to keep his pride. I know it'll be fun to see him interact with them more :) I just don't think it was his pride that was holding him back. It's Kougami's weirdness and Dr. Maki's.....being Dr. Maki? Though, knowing Kougami he'll probably get Gotou a rider system eventually anyway. This series is so unpreditable

I want to see him as a rider and in a position of power too, but I think Gotou's gotten away from where we was before he left the police force. I think it's good for him to get away from Kougami and Maki, make some real friends, and learn to be the hero that he originally got to be. Proudly fighting for justice! And, if he does become a Kamen Rider, I hope he gets as awesome a debut rider episode as Gatack's was. One of my very favorite Kabuto arcs. ^^

I have realized that I can't predict OOO at all, but I still keep trying. ; ;

I do think he's let go of being upset with Eiji for being OOO. That felt like the entirety of the wrongful part of his pride. I just feel like Kougami was harping on his pride even after he admitted he hasn't done much to protect the world? After that point, he still wanted to be a rider, sure, but that desire isn't uncommon in Kamen Rider as a series. It doesn't feel particularly prideful that he wants to be a rider, to me, if only because being a rider is a BIG way people protect the world in KR and in toku in general. Not everyone can be, but wanting to be one doesn't have to feel like something vain. I'm sure there have been characters who want to be riders for reasons like that (and that'd be an interesting concept to explore), but I don't feel like Gotou's motivation is colored that way.

Wanting to be OOO was prideful. And, he just wanted to see what kind of person Date was. He says in the preview that he has no right to be Birth. So, if Kougami ever says that again, it's on Kougami.

I love how Date didn't want to go back to the lab, but now he's just taken over. Classic.

Its greatest sin is only having like 2 songs a piece from Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning:. I boycotted the game originally for that, considering there's no dlc to remedy the problem. But, what's there is still head and shoulders above almost everything else done by anybody else.

Having the entirety of Dookie, American Idiot, and 21st Century makes it feel very structured, unlike Beatles Rock Band. Beatles is very......BAD as is. Luckily you can dl all of Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper's and Abbey Road (which are my 3 favorite albums of theirs). Beatles COMPLETE is awesome. Beatles off the assembly line? AVOID.

It really does. The intro says it's inspired by Raymond Queneau's Exercise in Style which did it first with words, and this book is doing it with visuals. Some of them are fantastic. Superhero, horror comic, 1950's style etc. I'll see if they have Exercise in Style when I return it.

Did you install anything that is designed to work with 64 and 32? The x86 folder is only there if you're running a 64 bit OS. As far as I know. Any PC tech heads reading?

It's not exactly my thing, either? I must sound ridiculous saying after posting all that I have. I'm just not super into Japanese music or instrumental stuff, because I'm a big lyrics person. Still, I like the battle music, because it gets me pumped, and I really like hearing stuff and remembering scenes from the show. Some of them have really terrific music too, of course. Other stuff, I have just because I really am obsessive enough to download things related to something I like.

And some of these are amazingly well done. Sound effects from the show, little things you wouldn't think to include, actors from the show singing, all sorts of stuff.

There's really no reason for me to rush to post them, so I can go through them album by album, figure out the ones I'd recommend the most, and post those. A lot of my stuff is mixed together in playlists, so I'm not totally sure what's from what album. I'll pick a sample track from each album I post too, so you can see if you like that before getting the whole album.

I have faith in Scream 4.

Kevin Williamson is back on board with the series........the horror films are completely different with torture porn & an endless army of bad remakes and the technology (not just cellphones anymore) has changed a lot since '96.

They can really step it up to a whole new level.

With the slowing of the torture porn films and a lull in the remakes of Asian horror it's an opportune time for a new kind of horror.

Hopefully they'll do for horror what True Grit did for the corpse of the Western. (Yea, No Country... was kind of a western for a while.) Is Hollywood trying to reinvent itself? That can only be a good thing. :D

I haven't seen Scream 3 so I'm guessing I shouldn't watch 4.

Scream 3 pooped the bed.....I blame the studio and the new script writer, Ehren Kruger (he did write the first Ring remake though, so I'll give him thumbs up for that).

The first 2 Screams satired slasher flicks, with horror movie fans as characters (wonderful:D)......the 3rd one just became a spoof of itself. It almost seemed more like an episode of Scooby Doo, rather than a scary slasher flick spoof.

Feck...Jay & Silent Bob even showed up in it. :rolleyes:

funny...I just about popped in Blue Velvet the other night, but instead got distracted by listening to all sorts of Lynch music....his own music and stuff from his movies.

I want to live in that weird, cool cat, scary world of his.

I'm really looking forward to the blu-ray. The dvd I have is a real shitty transfer. It's the lame Prism release.

Everytime I watch it it takes me days to get Mr Sandman out of my head. It's just crept in there now.

I love me some Roy....Lynch using his music is a match made in heaven.

It was no surprise to see him use Chris Isaak later. They having some striking similiarities.

I don't think a day has gone by in several, several weeks where all 3 of them haven't been mentioned atleast once a day.

The strange thing is I don't really like Orbison. That song is just so damn catchy though. And that version of Crying in Mulholland Drive is so amazing.
