I was going to watch this last night. It was either it or Legend, I opted for Legend, a film I loved as a kid, I watched it a dozen times as a nipper, last night I hated it. Tom: VOL. II
First off....bunny cover!!! :)
1. THE WAY / Fastball
Geez...I haven't heard this one in many, many, many years. It's like a flashback to the late 90's. Brings back some memories I had forgotten about. :) Nice.
2. ROLLING IN THE DEEP / Adele
Never heard anything by her before. I like it. A wonderful voice.
3. HALO / Beyonce
Interesting choice. I didn't NOT like it. Not my thing though. I'd listen to it again though. Not torture to my ears like I suspected it might be.
4. LA PARED / Shakira
I always liked her voice. Am I the only that think she sounds like a more confident, stronger Jewel?
I'd listen to more. Any suggestions?
5. MOPE / The Bloodhound Gang
:rofldata: :rofldata: Hilarious. From their last good album imo.
6. ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER / Jimi Hendrix
Wonderful, wonderful song. Hendrix took this song, kicked it's ass and made it his own. I love it.
7. RAMBLE ON / Led Zeppelin
As much as I dislike Plant I can't deny the excellent musicianship of the rest of the band.
8. THE GRUESOME DEATH OF EDWARD TEACH / Scissorfight
I should make out with the guy who found this song for you. I'll bet he's right sexy.
I love it. So much fun. Will listen to this again and more.
9. 1979 / Smashing Pumpkins
Nice choice. :) There are four songs from Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness I can NEVER get tired of. This is one of them. Thank you. I'm putting this album on right away.
10. TRAINING NINJA / Naruto
:rofldata: :rofldata:
What was this? I giggled the whole through.
Nice job. :) I hope you keep 'em coming. I love hearing different things and having my ears opened and exposed to it all.

And maybe a rerun of American Dad (now that I said the name).
Another good song. Shit, they're almost all good, but w/e. Forgot how much I liked this one.
Not the greatest lyrically, but it's just a well-crafted pop song and sometimes you have to just appreciate that sort of thing.

CGI TMNT was great with the only real flaws being it was way short, Don & Mike didn't get as much screen time as they should have, & the status quo was reset pretty quickly.

Tom, another dose of sexy feedback.
Mine played in a different order but I just copied and pasted cuckoo's because I'm one part smart and two parts lazy.
1. THE WAY / Fastball
Never heard this before. It was okay. Chessy but fun. Reminds me of something but I can’t place what. Pretty good.
2. ROLLING IN THE DEEP / Adele
Love Adele, as you know. Welsh girl done good. Ate all the pies. Astonishing voice. Good stuff.
3. HALO / Beyonce
Beyonce isn’t for me. This track was more tolerable than her usual assault on my senses. I admit I did skip it halfway through.
4. LA PARED / Shakira
First time I’ve heard her. I expected an angry pop assault like Slutina Aguilera from the pictures I’ve seen of her.
Sounded a little like Origa at times. Made me want to listen to Origa.
5. MOPE / The Bloodhound Gang
Was never a fan of these guys. Friend likes them so I’ve heard them before.
6. ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER / Jimi Hendrix
I like Bob’s as well. I like both. Been ages since I heard Jimi. Good stuff. :D
7. RAMBLE ON / Led Zeppelin
Love Zep. Saw Jimmy do the violin bow guitar thing live. That rendition of Kashmir is burned into my retina.
8. THE GRUESOME DEATH OF EDWARD TEACH / Scissorfight
This is really cool. It’s like Die Krupps and Laibach and Marilyn Manson and some unnamed hardcore band all jizzed into a coffee cup and some bad ass bitch birthed the result. Is the rest of the album similar? Good stuff.
9. 1979 / Smashing Pumpkins
I don’t have Mellon Collie... so this was cool to hear. I know this song for some reason, was it a single? Like it.
10. TRAINING NINJA / Naruto
I watched the first 2 episodes of Naruto, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. In fact, as he sat on his little swing feeling all :foreveralone: I kind of felt for the little guy. I’d watch more. This was funny as hell in places.

Most people would ignore it or not notice. One person actually said, 'you have a weird way of talking. Like Yoda or something." I felt like such an awkward nerd. They think I'm trying to seriously talk like a Star Wars character. I may as well be talking in Klingon.

I remember leaving the theatre after the second one thinking, hell yea, the real world is a matrix construct, it's more wool over the seemingly unwooled eyes. Then the third one blew that idea out of the water a year later. If you take away that boring as hell Zion fight and make 2 and 3 into one movie I'd like them better. First one is still 10 out of 10.

The First Matrix is kick-ass.
Part 2 and 3 play out like Kill Volumes 1 and 2, respectively.
I really enjoyed Vol 1, really good music too!
But the story arch cuts off right in the middle so the last part is really just the climax and downslope of the story.
I didn't like the Zion war so much either.
I much preferred it in the Matrix cities.

Also, how could one not think that they'd write the code and whole system to be recursive?
Humans not only have a need for imperfection and conflict, they also have a need for heroes and change, no matter how fleeting.
Of course Neo is a beautifully flawed hero, who is in love with himself and ultimately very selfish, but that's just another part of the beauty that is the Matrix trilogy~

actually, it's just the first movie that's really uncensored then they edited the second part to start right away.
the first part uncensored is the golden egg though.
The House of Blue Blood fight is in full color, more scenes added that were previously cut.
The extra scenes are longer shots of the gore and different angles and more gore.
And even the frenchie in the trunk has uncencored frenchie swears in it.
I think there's a wikipedia link on all of it.
I downloaded an AVI version, saw the dvd version and saw it was an upscale of the AVI version, so i opted out and kept the AVI version.

I just spent 2 1/2 hours doing dishes by hand because the hot water is off today for maintenance.
While washing all the dishes I decided to run the dishwasher empty just to wash out the shit and grime on the sides from before.
As I finished drying off the final dish I opened the clean dishwasher to discover it was HOT.
Apparently this new dishwasher heats up the water itself.

How do I turn flac files into mp3 so I can burn them to disc?
I'm trying to make iTunes open them and it isn't working for shit.
Tried changing the extension and that isn't doing a damn thing.
O_O you dont want to convert them to mp3 then cd!
You want to convert them to wav then cd!
with the proper .cue file if you have it.
You can use any freeware .wav converter tool, Foobar, Audacity.
And if you're using Nero to burn CDs, you can use the .wav editor (i think) to import the FLAC files and convert to wav to import to your CD.
Nero should be able to read FLACs on their own however.
converting to a lossy compressed format, will give you lossy compressed audio on the CD.
Where is keeping it lossless, you pretty much get the same results as having the original CD, except that it's on CDR.
itrunes....i've never used that program before...
If you keep the MP3's to burn to CD, and decide you want to rip the CD back to your puter... you'll get worse results.
If you rip the CD to your puter in lossless, you get fake lossless.
If you rip the CD to your puter in lossy mp3 again, you get a 2nd generation of lossy, which is bad.
So always use lossless files to create your burned CDs. If you can't get most lossless formats to work, WAV should be universal.
WAV is prime.
don't use shitty products from shitty companies :D
