actually expanding my goldfinger review, i felt i didn't say everything i wanted to say, was so focused at the time on at writing as many reviews in as little time as possible that i left a lot of thoughts out. at the time i was afraid of sounding long-winded but after reading doc, cuckoo and ndi's reviews i realize i was being too brief.

I almost gave it a 3.5. It was a tough call, but ultimately my nostalgia at all. If I was rating on a 10 scale I probably would've given it a 7.5. Definitely an 8 or an 8.5 as a kid's movie though.

i have a hard time rating things in an impartial way. i think it's impossible. i'm almost a little too hard on some movies, because i try to review them without my nostalgia glasses

fun trivia: Tim Curry originally voiced the Joker in B:TAS, but test audiences thought he was too scary, and he was replaced with Mark Hamill. I mostly make chocolate chip, or snickerdoodles. As for non-deserts, I pretty much cook all my meals from scratch. Instead of splitting recipies, I usually just freeze the leftovers. Fast food might be cheaper for one person, but homemade is much more satisfying.

I freeze leftovers too. It's too expensive to cook properly otherwise, and I'd get bummed out if I never got to cook.

Baked goods keep pretty well too, as long as they're stored in something. Sugar is a natural preservative. :smrt:

Jingle All the Way is pretty much the perfect fantastical interpretation of what an ideal Christmas Eve day should be. I used to get off on shopping on christmas eve. Not sure I would, anymore, but that's pretty irrelevant. The behavior was in place such that the impression has been made.

The Hoppers are a pretty significant part of the show, even though Yaguruma left the stage for such a long time. Kageyama drove me crazy for most of the show too, and it's really a testament to how well the two of them worked together that I grew to love him so much. They're deliberately portrayed as over the top, and sometimes very silly, but there's a lot to relate to in their story. The loss of hope, the need to cling to some sort of philosophy, Kageyama ultimately rejecting what he was so desperate for and choosing to stay in his darkness. I really like most of the Kabuto cast (though I think you're more into Drake than I am) so I can babble on a lot about them and their arcs. Even the non-rider characters- there were lots of supporting characters that I thought had really good arcs in Kabuto. I think some characters wound up getting fleshed out more because of the behind the scenes drama, but I'm glad that they did, even though I wish we'd got more time with a certain female character. I really like her.

I'm not sure if I should be worrying about spoilers or not! Someone may read this and watch Kabuto someday, I guess.

I don't like the 3 & 4 character models. The boobs don't look real and while the last costume has her naked-er than ever it's no way sexy since it's a PG-13 game which means you can't see nipples so it looks like she either has no nipples or they're on the top and side like a bad boob job.

I'll get a couple Christmas-y movies up this week too! Die Hard for sure, and I'll think of some other good ones. I get all scrooge-y but I know there are more Christmas movies that I like. Neg reminded me of Jingle All the Way.

I love the the Soul Calibur game on dreamcast so much. Hell, I still have it. But boobs was never something I payed attention to a game. I mostly care if teh game is good and funny enough to be around it. Soul Calibur had so much to offer and to do. And practically everything cool was taken when t changed to Sould Calibur 2, which is not a bad game and it can be fun... but the Soul Calibur is incredibly better in my opinion.
And the "SEX Appeal" japanese are using to sale games just make not wanting to buy it.

My last bunny related incident was at a shrine meetup! Slept in the host's sisters room and my eyes were all puffy, red, and gross the next day. The best way I've found to learn and increase a vocabulary is to use a dictionary and thesaurus, no shame in that. I'd argue the opposite is true, it is to be applauded.

Yes, the atmosphere was a bit creepier. What I did not like, as typical american, those exaggerated cg effects for a person to die. It sound so unnatural and so Bad to me. Americans tend to exaggerate with the effects. That is what I do not like.
