I love Bill McDonagh. That's another thing the original has over 2. Even the characters we only knew from the audio diaries were compelling.

2 was just so disappointing.

They audio diary characters had real character. I loved it.

I still remember the first time I descended into that world. Knew nothing about it. My bro just gave it to me as a gift and said "you'll be all over this". ....he was right.

Rapture could have been effectively used for a trilogy, at the least, like they were planning. I do think because they're limited to inside environments it couldn't sustain a series as long as Silent Hill has been able to.

Sea exploration could have been done better, but as it stands it was insanely limited. If done right it could have helped sustain the setting for 3 games. As is, underwater segments were a joke.
