One of the guys over at Weta has said he really wants an Evangelion movie trilogy made. There was concept art done but other than that nothing so far. With Anno in the middle of his Eva movies I don't think he's very much interested in the story being retold a 3rd time, and by baka gajins no less. However the few things that Weta and Tiffany Grant have said sounded promising; 1. they'd cast unknown kids as the leads. 2. Most of the cast would be played by asians with Asuka being a white girl. 3. they'd pre plan everything out before shooting and then do it in one huge go to produce 3 movies.

Depends. the animated film based on Chinese Ghost Stories was pretty good if I remember correctly. Of course it wasn't technically chinese, as it was made in HK, but still. That and Martial arts movies, even if most of the classics were made in HK circa 1960-1995.

But a few recent ones (most of Donnie Yen movies for exemple) were made in now chinese HK and are still really good. Stuff like SPL, Flashpoint, Ipman 1 & 2, Legend of the fist

tbh I really want a Gentaro figuarts but I'm not crazy about any Fourze's states, aesthetics wise. Fire is my favorite, but I don't like it enough for a figuarts. I just want someone to become bros with all my other figuarts. I'd do handshake poses forever.

It helps that I've played them before. I just do a quick run-through to refresh. Plus other than the 1st one, the MW games take only about 5 hours on average. Deus Ex games took forever. I'll hold off on that spoiler for now, since I haven't watched anything since....21 or 22. The one you know I watched. I absolutely LOVED that arc. The fights were astoundingly great. Ryuusei (and Kengo, in general) really could be what Shou calls Gentaro in Mega Max. I love the idea of what they set up so much, even if it sorta completely excludes OOO :laugh:

I have the FMCS line and it's amazingly good. The eyes are compound and really all that's missing are the hands and glossy finishes (this really only hurts Magnet States, for my money). Elek states even has cloth ripples. All faults are negated by how easy it is to get all the modules.

Did you know figuarts is putting individual modules into Magazines? Yeah, Claw is in Telebi-Kun, I think. Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick moooooooooooooove~

It helps that I've played them before. I just do a quick run-through to refresh. Plus other than the 1st one, the MW games take only about 5 hours on average.

It is less of a shooter and more of an adventure type deal. The shooting is actually rather clunky, but you may appreciate the different motivations behind the different factions as none are portrayed as totally villainous. It is really up to the player's different personal philosophies that makes the game thought provoking. That itself is why I gave it a 4 instead of less as the game is less impressive on the technical side.

Ryuusei's speech with the magnets is one of my favorite moments he's had in the whole show so far. ^^ You have a lot of the show's best gif episodes coming up soon! But I might just be saying that because I like giffing people when they're outside of their normal clothes.

How is FMCS at posing? That's probably number one for me unless I can get the whole KRC together, which sucks because I feel like I'd have to get a figuarts for that. Fire States is still pretty cheap and it comes with a lot of good stuff though. Cosmic States is really nice storywise but I probably would want to get another figure too if I grabbed him. I want to say the gimmick line has come a long way since Final Form Rides, but in terms of articulation they've always been pretty spiffy. They have Souchaku Henshin poseability. Simple as that. They can't bring arms across their bodies as well as figuarts, and they don't have sliding joints in their shoulders or legs. Legs are on ball joints, I'm pretty sure, and are usually a little slippery. That's an easy fix, but I've never felt the need since they hold poses well enough. They don't have Batta leg syndrome. It's not that bad, just worth mentioning.

They have the paired fingers, which is the only legitimate drawback. Still, it allows them to hold bigger weapons without fear of stretching. Give and take. FMCSs have compound eyes and are in scale with figuarts. W form change were smaller and OCCs were bigger.

Ultimately, unless you're interested in Magnet States, I'd look at pictures and if you're okay with their look and articulation I definitely think you should compare their module load outs to what come with each figuart.
