I was obsessed with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis for a little while when I was maybe 11 or so. I watched a lot of mediocre movies and thought they were hysterical. They were a good team.

I have this idea for a comic but I'm not sure how to really make it work for a real story. I think I'm going to just have to repurpose the character and make him a part of another story. Basically, I wanted to do this detective who's very over the top and a combination of a lot of fictional detectives. He'll come to crime scenes and get all into investigating and overdramatics and will come up with this elaborate solution to the crime at the end. The reality of the crime will be something simple that isn't much of a mystery- ie guy was moving furniture and it fell on him- but his crazy solutions will still make a weird sort of sense. It'd be really fun to write but I can't see it working as an ongoing comic.

Mostly unrelated but I was reading something recently about how the easiest way to make a character likable is contradiction. IE, create this badass, serious adventurer, and then give him a fear of snakes. I thought it was a neat idea. Something I want to use, although I wish I could remember where I read it so that I could read it again.

It's an ova set that's a sequel to SIGN.... ANN described ep 28 as a fan episode..... So I don't know if it was supposed to be a TRUE ending or not....

My favourite concert hall was built to be the home of the City orchestra. They opened it up to other music about 20 years ago when it stopped being profitable for concert music (because most of the tickets were free) and the acoustics in there are the shizz.

I've seen such things as the Aussie Pink Floyd to Slayer in there and the sound is the best I've ever heard. RATM were fantastic there. Tom's widdly bleepig things were awesome.

there's three things that make me go deaf. like i cant hear what im supposed to be focusing on, but rather only hear the background and other stuff.

concerts, mall food courts, and when i was in highschool, the hallways during break.

I saw Song of the South in theaters. Unless there was a tiny local showing it would've had to have been in 1986, which is weird, because I remember chunks of it and I would've been somewhere between 2 and 3 then. I don't think my memories go back that far. I don't want my earliest memory to be Song of the South!

yeah, i figured it wouldn't be as spectacular. there's only 1 scene that would look nice in 3D. When they're dancing and her dress flies across the screen.
That type of motion is good for 2D to 3D conversion.
It creates a sense of depth and since everything is moving linearly across the screen, the frame difference and other techniques don't have much data loss or too much interpretation to use.

Other than that, the rest of it would have to focus on giving depth rather than making anything eye-popping-coming-out-of-the-screen.
the faces and inanimate objects should be okay, shade extractions and color differences.

IIRC, Lion King had a lot of nice panoramic and "3D ready" scenes where the "camera angles" gave a sense of depth between solitary motion and moving objects as the main focus for the screen shot.

Re-doing everything by Pixar would be easier, as it's all CG. The assets would only need to be rendered in 3D.
I think all Pixar movies were released in 3D...

That's the one. I didn't finish it. It was supposed to fill in the Namine story but I didn't get that far. If it had an analogue stick I'd have probably finished it. The D-Pad hurt my giant hand.
