I was okay with it at first. I laughed a little when I first saw it and than I put myself in that position and it made my eye tickle.

I think it looks great. Green and purple work well as a outerspace when you don't want it a black void, and then it matches that one guy.

It's possible to play almost every Zelda game except the DS ones on the gamecube. Both NES games as well as both N64 games are on a collectors disc and so is Master Quest, then you got Wind Waker & Twilight Princess the cube's originals and throw in the game boy player and you got Link's Awakening, both Oracles, & the Game Boy Advance remake of Link to the Past.

I purchased the Game Cube right at the end of its lifespan, when Nintendo was offering the four-pack Zelda disc (Zelda, Zelda 2, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask). It's one of my favorite collectible discs. I own two copies, I like it so much! Oh, laws yes!

Having said that, I have trouble playing Ocarina of Time with a GameCube controller. The camera is just a nightmare to struggle with. I love playing Wind Waker and The Twilight Princess -- the Wii version and its mirrored graphics can take a long walk off a short pier -- and although I haven't finished it, I really like The Minish Cap (which I play on the GameCube's Game Boy Player). But Ocarina of Time... lordy, just can't do it anymore.

Looking forward to Skyward Sword, but I probably won't get to play it until after the Wii is irrelevant.

If you've got the Wii and a GameCube controller, Neg, then definitely get yourself a copy of Wind Waker. It's worth it. I'm not big on The Phantom Hourglass, but Wind Waker was a really good game. And that ending! There's something to be said for Link burying the Master Sword hilt-deep in Ganon's surprised face. For me, it was definitely the most surprising dispatching of Ganon in the series. Very satisfying.

Ocarina is one of the TWO games I enjoyed on the N64, I have to admit. Pilotwings being the other. I just had really awful experiences with the N64 as a whole and rather despise it. Pilotwings is a shining beacon within those memories~
I completely understand liking Zelda II because it's so different. Hell, I like Simon's Quest XD
I never had a GC so I didn't play Wind Waker. I played Phantom Hourglass and it was alright. Just not alright enough to make me go back and grab Wind Waker.
The biggest problem with WW was the sailboat shit.
Too for fucking ever - it's like some sort of Korean Grindcore RPG...but w/o the turn-based and boats.

Where Isaka shows up (episode 6 or 9, it's in my notes!) is where Blade started getting really good for me. I think that Tachibana's story really kicks up at that point, and it's just really involving. Most people don't seem to like it till episode 16, though. I'm so glad you like it now.

In spite of my undying Chalice love, Kenzaki is my favorite character too. His best moments are yet to come, so if he's your favorite now I have a feeling you are going to be even happier you bought King form as the series progresses!

A lot of the card stuff you're talking about will be explained later on.

I want to say episode 18 is where the first Undead I really like shows up? Let me check. Nope, episode 20, but something else I really like is in 18/19.

Also, I have to say that even though Leangle doesn't get the best plotlines (it's not even that his story is bad, I just wish they'd handled stuff with him a little differently), he gets what I think are some of the best cards in the show, so look forward to that!

Last night after I got home and was wide awake for some reason. Couldn't sleep.

So I watched "Session 9" again......saw "Shuttle". Haven't seen it before. Kinda disappointing. I googled "the best horror movies no one's seen"...that was one of the only ones I hadn't seen.

Session 9 is a lot of fun. Plus it inspired parts of Silent Hill 3.

I should probably get overtime seeing how T-N screwed the pooch on last week's translation.

I kind of like seeing both translations, tbh! I really like how TV Nihon keeps things close to the original sometimes, especially with things like honorifics, using -tachi, stuff like that. Plus, they use the avi format! I think Over-Time does a really excellent job with their translations, though, and they are incredibly speedy.

For the most part, I am happy to watch the episodes more than once, so it all works out.

Yep, I said as much. It's just when they make mistakes that directly mess up the plot. C'mon now. Keep it together, guys.
