There's always new stuff getting subbed! Even though a lot of groups do 5-6 episodes and then stop. People keep telling me to watch Metal Heroes stuff so I'll probably get on that one of these days.

Personally, I like reading reviews rather than video. That's just me though.

I'd start up a blog. They can fun....granted you don't have a short attention span. I go hard on mine for a week then find my interest trotting over to some other project....and so on...and so on. If you do video you will NEED to be able to edit. You can add in funny shit, and keep the pace consistent. I would say that's a must.

Well, my blog would be more a place where I'd put my reviews (or links to em if they're vids) rather than me being actually "blogging". XD

i'd do a blog. but if you are gonna do a video, at least find a way to make it interesting/humorous. perhaps use movie clips etc, maybe get someone else involved so it's a dialogue, which i think is more interesting than just one person talking about films.

Okay, so the general sentiments seem to be the same as my own. I'll keep the video reviews to the games I intend to review rather than the rather limited set of movies (there's only so many Marvel movies), and will do the movie reviews in a written way.

It would also be a great way to bridge the time until I get a new camera and a video editing software so I can still do updates on my review stuff but don't have to do it by video.

I guess I'll return from hiatus soon. :3

And I already had released reviews to the public, Lyedecker, it's just that they have terrible quality. I intend on re-doing them once I have the equipment. Speaking of reviewing movies, I've been thinking of chiming into rottentomatoes' Marvel Movie Madness and doing reviews on Marvel movies myself. My first thought was to make video reviews, but they wouldn't be much more than me rambling, so I guess written ones might be better. What do you guys think?

Personally, I'd prefer to read a review unless there's some sort of visual component to go with it. I like watching toy reviews because it really helps to see the toy in action, but I'd rather read a review of a book or a comic 9 times out of 10. Of course, some people are charismatic and funny enough to pull off just talking about stuff, and you've always seemed awesome so maybe you're one of those people. ;)


I have an accent. It's not pretty. I stick to typing. Plus I prefer to read than listen to someone talking. But that's just me. :-P

I think there is more of a difference in accents over here. I went to a gig about 100 miles away last week and I couldn't understand a word the guy on the door was saying. Really, not one feckin word, and it was English he was speaking. Or so I'm told.

Port forwarding should fix that unless there are very few seeders.

I thought more seeding just meant that if you one quit it would skip to another. I didn't realise it grabbed bits from them all at once.

It's because the people seeding the files can adjust how much goes out at a time. They can set it to amounts like 50kb/s (that's what I usually keep mine at). If they're seeding multiple torrents than it's even less of a rate per file. It's slow sometimes, but some people just have so much going that they need to regulate the rate.

This is a cover from one of the Ultimate Spider-Man books, #159 if I'm not mistaken. It's not released yet but will soon. In the Ultimate series, he apparently dies (alongside a shitload of other characters, they've been killing off like half of the Ultimate Marvel Universe by now). That's the cover to that book.
It's actually a shame because the Ultimate Spider-Man in particular started out really good (aside from a couple of design choices, but alas), and the storylines had a lot of great concepts (that worked out terribly in some cases), but now the Ultimate Universe is just a giant super hero genocide. Soon they won't have any characters left to do something with.
