I don't know who he is, so I didn't even know he scored any of Season 1.....i thought it was just Walter Murphy.

He is the brother of writer/director Charles Band who's Full Moon entertainment has been cranking out horror & sci-fi flicks for years. Had no idea he had any connection with BtVS either.

his imdb page has no mention of him being any part of BtVS either....Walter Murphy is credited as the composer of the first season.

I am thinking they are...I don't remember a Buffy MCI commercial. It's possible that Whedon had him in mind just after making his "Unaired Pilot" and after Band cranked out these cues Whedon decided not to use him. Dunno why, they sound pretty good to me.

I couldn't order them, because they were U.S. only downloads and it seems no one ever bothered with them on the Film Score/VGM thread.

If I knew some of the track names I could better tell you. I got a bunch of cues in a series of zips from a site that no longer exists.

The iTunes Exclusive Bonus Tracks were:

Not bad considering you hear Willow crying as Oz leaves in his van...ripped at 320. Now I am sad, that episode made me cry 'cause I love Alyson/Willow so much. :(
