I thought that was a really great movie to see in theatres. It's fun to watch with the volume way up, with the largest field of vision possible. I still feel it was a little toned back for PG-13, though. I await the unrated version...

I ended up watching public enemies. Sappiest gangster flick ever.
Yeah, I don't know about Sam Raimi myself. It seems like the old Raimi is gone replaced by this suit wearing pod impersonator after about the time of Spider-man 2. Other people might have other opinions, but I thought Spider-man 3 was a train wreck at a low speed. I still have faith in him, he's got a great eye and is a genius director, I just hope some of that genius is used on choosing film projects. It's hard to say no to the money Sony is giving him. It seems like he's burned out on projects that are really film making by committee and not a product of artistic integrity of any kind. All about the $ and a gang of producers and corporate fools breathing down the back of your neck. I hope he quits that gig after 4.

It still seems like there's 40 minutes or so missing though, if the so-called complete score is actually 100 minutes long.

I had to download Drag Me To Hell because I've been wanting that score since I saw the flick, and the official release date is still off by three weeks. This will certainly tide me over until then.

I don't remember there being a constant score type thing in Terminator. But people say that it's 100 minutes, so you must be right. I got that score as soon as it turned up before seeing the film. I wouldn't hold my breath on a complete release.

Not just Jar Jar, that movie had problems.
The overindulgent podrace scene that goes on forever. I didn't even like the designs of the ships that much. I like the duel at the end though.
Some of the bits in between have good concepts and so on.
I'd like to see the 70 minute edit.

Yeah, when watching the 6-film saga in its entirety, Episode I really doesn't hold its own. It's much too "kiddy" and seems out of place with the rest of the series. Episode II was better, but I still found Anakin too whiny and annoying. It was only in Episode III that I really felt the character came into his own, and I really love the way it seguewayed into A New Hope...that's my opinion on the whole prequel trilogy, anyhow.

Yeah AOTC had some good bits. The clone war battle at the end could have been even longer. Jango Fett was frickin' cool. Sith isn't perfect, but it's definitely the best of the three. I have yet to watch them in order, I am kind of burnt out on them at the moment.

The one thing I did like about the whole prequel trilogy was that it gave Anakin that whole emotional backstory...you really feel a whole lot more for the guy in the black suit in Eps. IV-VI. Not so fond of seeing Hayden return at the end of the new Return of the Jedi cut, though.

Yeah it should be the Sabastian Shaw ghost for sure at the end of Jedi. Hayden's not that bad, he was great physically for the duels and action stuff. His lines could have been better too. Not that I am a defender, but that's what you get when you cast a kid for two films, you never know what you're gonna get. I'm off to escape this heat, later.

Well, that was Disney's to begin with and it was only a ride. But PoP is not Disney's. I remember when the Chronicles of Narnia came to theaters for the first time. Someone said it would've been better if Disney didn't get their hands on it. I've never read the books but it wasn't the first time I heard of something like that. I can almost guarantee that the movie will be dumbed down for the kids. Because it's Disney. Hell, even Mickey Mouse might make an appearance! Okay, not really, but you get the point.

I don't like anime so much either. All the characters pretty much look the same to me. And Wolverine doesn't even look buff...he looks lean and, yes, mullet-y. The only thing that makes him Wolverine are the claws, but face it, he could just as easily double as Vega from Street Fighter. :-P
