W went up, came down to kick Core. Eiji went down, came up.

W ended up on the surface, Eiji went through the earth.... He was on an upward trajectory. I understand W turning around and heading up. That's perfectly logical.

Why would Eiji turn around and go back down Am I missing something?

Skull part was honestly a bit MEH. I think it could have been much better if it had been fleshed out as a full movie like Accel's and Eternal's. OOO part was......my head hurts ;; Best part of it was Eiji and Ankh after the speech. Because that's what works in the show: Ankh and Eiji playing off each other. I get that letting Eiji control the medals is needed for fluid combo changes and I'd love to see that in the series, but Ankh still needs to be RIGHT THERE for everything to function.

Eiji without Ankh is horrible, miserable times, for my money. Ballet during a SaGoZo fight. Seriously? I don't see how any could care about Nobungnagajajaba. Well, I see why Kougami did it, but why does Eiji care? He's birth for one fight. It's just so out of place and weird.

Oh, and the ShaUTa medals aren't in the medal case but they're shown on the summary screen. Fail.

I hate how 'rapidshare' makes you feel like a chump for not making use of their 'fancy schmancy' RapidPro memberships.

The problem with buying a king size account on any file hosting site is the fact that there are so many of them that you'll still be waiting on downloads for half the stuff your after. Plus you're still going to need to upload your shit at a small file size so everyone else who doesn't have a pro account can get at it. And if you're doing this for archiving you sure as hell better upload twice; once as huge and once as small files so you can get at them once your membership is up.

Just read it did gangbusters. It's a little mystifying to me. I've got nothing against the Pirates movies but it's just hard for me to get why they keep on doing as well as they do. Same goes for the Fast and Furious movies, although I kind of hope they keep making tons of money because the titles make me lol something fierce. Is there a way to combine STS and 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS?


I thought they recast Phineas after the first 2 or 3 episodes, but it turns out they just recorded those ones a good bit before the others and Vincent what's his face's voice changed in between. Anyways, the voice he uses for most of the episodes is miles better, so good job puberty.



Well Johnny Depp is really swell. Also these movies are kinda like all those Harryhausen films; fantasy, adventure, monsters and stuff. Isn't if funny that we call them Harryhausen movies when all he did was the special effects and not write or direct them?

I like going to these types of movies with friends. We have a few drinks. Loosen up a bit, go watch brainless fun movies, laugh have fun. Then go get more drinks at the pub after and laugh more at how ridiculous some of it was.

Megaupload is pretty good. It usually lets me download the equivalent of about 8 movies in 24 hours (6 GB or so).

Mediafire is my favorite for multiple downloads because I can grab a few at the same time.

I am more medicated than usual to combat the pain so I am loopy but feeling no pain.

At least the pain is gone for now. Be careful with that stuff.

I switched to stronger meds last week and I'm not sure how my body is taking it.

I think my stomach is bleeding a little sometimes.

Pain meds make the rest of the pain go away but i can still feel the inside of my stomach and it's a might bit unpleasant.

Make sure and eat something before taking pain meds. It helps keep your stomach from being eaten. If that doesn't help you can get a magic pill to take along with the meds to do the same job only better, of course it too has it's own side effects. :rolleyes:

Tramadol is an opioid. They can sometimes cause respiratory problems. As long as you don't abuse them it should be fine. 50 ml is the norm. A friend of mine is on 100ml three times a day. And she has asthma. :shock:

Tramadol is the only pain killer that I don't seem to have problems with. The worse I ever felt after taking a pain killer was many years ago I took some Percodan after a dental visit I thought I was gonna die! Basically anything with Oxycodone or Morphine in it I can't take.

I wish like hell that my local connection didn't leave town for a couple of months otherwise I would be doing more Mary J and less Tramadol. Oh and what gave you guys the idea I had back aches? Well Johnny Depp is really swell. Also these movies are kinda like all those Harryhausen films; fantasy, adventure, monsters and stuff. Isn't if funny that we call them Harryhausen movies when all he did was the special effects and not write or direct them?

It would have been fun if they just kept up with 3 fast 3 furious, 4 fast 4 furious, & fa5t & furio5, and finally 2 fast, 2 furious, 2 Morgan Freeman.

tbh, these days, when I hear a horror movie is based on true events I don't really believe it. It isn't really out of the realm of possibility but I feel like I probably would've read about it on crime library!

The girls are indeed pretty annoying, from what I've heard. I've avoided specific spoilers but the end stuff is supposed to be pretty brutal/intense. Worth watching to me for that alone. Not like it's hard to convince me to watch a horror movie, though. ;)

I agree...I don't mind gore just as long as the story is good and creepy. If I had a problem with gore I wouldn't have such a huge collection of 80's horror flicks and Fangoria magazines.

Some of those 80's horror films are true classics of the genre. John Carpenter, Sam Raimi, David Cronenberg, etc. gave us some wonderful films.

I've always really liked gore effects, even when I was a kid. Love movie makeup, love trying to figure out how they achieved certain effects, all that. Because horror movies tend to be lower budget they tend to go a lot simpler with the effects and I think that's one of the things that appeals to about the genre. My ideal with this is really elaborate, creative kills- think Dario Argento, although even some of the crappier Final Destination films excelled at this. I'm not sure if this movie is particularly creative, but I know it's super low budget, and people are talking about it bunches, so I feel like they must do something interesting. It probably won't be that good. Most of the horror movies I watch are good because of my love of the genre only.

Very few movies genuinely scare me when I'm watching them, and I'm always excited about the ones that do. I love being scared. I really enjoy psychological horror, and ghost stories are wonderful. I wish there were more of them. I like asian ghost stories especially, since the ghosts are malevolent in a much less purposeful way. There are some fantastic western ghost stories too, though! The Devil's Backbone, The Woman in Black and House of Voices are some of my favorites. Really liked both The Innocents and The Others too, probably because they were inspired by the same story. ;)

If you're interested in gore but want a good plot I recommend Martyrs, totally.

I do love horror effects, Hellraiser for example, bloody and violent and totally entertaining. Uncle Frank with no skin was quality horror.

In my head there is a distinction in gore between the likes of that and, say, Hostel. It was violent and disturbing for all the wrong reasons. And yet, I'd be quick to defend Miike's Ichi if someone compared it to same. I guess I would need to sit down and actually analyse why I dislike certain things in the modern horror genre if I was to convey to someone else succinctly.

It wouldn't just be the films I'd need to analyse but my own response to them. That would be an interesting exercise, I'll leave it for another time. :-P

There's definitely stuff that bothers me in a similar way. I forgive a lot of aspects of the horror genre and could write an essay about all the things I dislike about it at the same time. Would indeed be an interesting read!

I'm not trying to be a complete ass, but it seems like maybe they wrote the OOO part.....no, I can't even say it was before they knew what the show was going to be like, because they plan this shit meticulously. The toys are proof of that, and I won't waver on it.

Eiji even does something completely out of character. INSANELY out of character.

I don't know how it happened, but I just want to forget it exists.

but as a whole....yeah. I have no idea what they were thinking. Their alternative universe/non-canon stuff usually has more of a purpose than that. In fact, I'd say there is almost always a specific reason they chose to set the movie in an alternative universe.

Ankh has to be there, even if he's not controlling the medals. He has a complete stake in the fight and makes things work the way they do. Anyone complains about that, well he has to be there to throw Kujaku and Condor medals, at least, alright?

I love seeing things I watched a kid with a completely new perspective when I revisit it as an adult. It gives it an extra layer of awesome.

Yeah, yeah, it was neat to see what it could've been like had the show gone in a direction but just about everything else felt off about it. All of Yasuko Kobayashi's shows have that carefully balanced chemistry between the characters, and with OOO I think you have to be especially careful not to upset that balance. I feel like episodes where you don't get a good amount of Ankh or Date tend to be the weakest, and ones with great moments for both tend to be the best. Things just never came together and sometimes it was more dull than something related to Kamen Rider has any right to be.

The money thing is especially awful since it ignores all of the characterization Eiji's gotten. Must've been annoying for Japanese fans who saw the movie first.

I just checked wikipedia and Yasuko Kobayashi and Riku Sanjo are both credited as writers on the movie, along with Toshiki Inoue. Have to wonder if Inoue didn't do most of the OOO half just because it's so off from the actual series.

That seems to be who everyone is blaming (Inoue).

I like Inoue a good bit more than many others in the Kamen Rider fandom, but they're not his characters, and maybe he just didn't really get them. Definitely feel like that happened with a few Hibiki characters when he took the reigns.

I agree that the Skull part felt a little lacking. It was entertaining enough, but I guess it felt like it was missing some of that W magic, for me. Maybe I've just been spoiled by how good the other W movies have been. I thought it had some nice background stuff especially but it didn't live up to my admittedly high expectations. Feel kind of silly complaining about it when it's held up to the OOO mess, though.

I really liked that they went with Bat and Spider dopants. Looks like there's some comic nerds workin' at Toei~ Or not. I was amused!

this episode of gokaiger was SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!! don't want to spoil any of it but i was laughing so hard. there was tons of nostalgia in it too! i definitely think i'm gonna check out carranger now.

i saw two errors though. at 14:59, you can see people's reflection in the glass in the background, and when the monster grows (16:54), you can see some tears in the suit where the leg seams meet.

And yeah, even getting the reds back isn't always doable. :( Tori Matsuzaka has been working pretty constantly since Shinkenger ended. I really wanted Genta back but he's in some huge stage show with lots of stunts and I imagine rehearsals for that are pretty intense.

I think it's awesome that so many people gain success from being on these shows, and that it's so respected as a franchise, but it's rough when it comes to stuff like this and Decade.

Decade brought some people back in moments when you would not expect them to at all, so I'm hoping Gokaiger will do the same.

Still only 13. This is part of why I don't care to get heavily into Sentai. Obviously the writing is the biggest reason, but the sub issue is ever present.

I've always really liked gore effects, even when I was a kid. Love movie makeup, love trying to figure out how they achieved certain effects, all that. Because horror movies tend to be lower budget they tend to go a lot simpler with the effects and I think that's one of the things that appeals to about the genre. My ideal with this is really elaborate, creative kills- think Dario Argento, although even some of the crappier Final Destination films excelled at this. I'm not sure if this movie is particularly creative, but I know it's super low budget, and people are talking about it bunches, so I feel like they must do something interesting. It probably won't be that good. Most of the horror movies I watch are good because of my love of the genre only.

Very few movies genuinely scare me when I'm watching them, and I'm always excited about the ones that do. I love being scared. I really enjoy psychological horror, and ghost stories are wonderful. I wish there were more of them. I like asian ghost stories especially, since the ghosts are malevolent in a much less purposeful way. There are some fantastic western ghost stories too, though! The Devil's Backbone, The Woman in Black and House of Voices are some of my favorites. Really liked both The Innocents and The Others too, probably because they were inspired by the same story. ;)

If you're interested in gore but want a good plot I recommend Martyrs, totally.

It seems that the Japanese really have a strong fairy tale, folk tale, myth, legend, religion, tall tails thing.
Maybe it's the fact that they didn't censor and happy ending all their stuff as much as western stuff. They do love their monsters both fantasy and science fiction created. Now that I think of it Japan stuff does tend to have a way bigger array of beasts compared to American stuff.

If I didn't live in Massachusetts when I had health problems a few years back I would've been pretty screwed, since I wasn't working enough for insurance. I still have medical debt from when I had blood poisoning almost 10 years ago. And I am extraordinarily lucky that I found a doctor's office willing to do payment plans with me before I was diagnosed, since I very likely would've died other wise.
