Then Saturday is all about Silent Hill 2. Interviews and press from first thing until the end of the day. The big event is a presentation in Hall H at 12:45. We’ve only got half an hour so it’s not exactly going to be in depth. But I’m going to show 2 clips from the movie in 3D. Sadly no trailer yet…they want to premiere that online in a few weeks. Of the clips, one is a sequence with a new monster and the other sees the return of some old favourites. The difficulty really is that the Hall H crowd is a family audience and there’s not a lot from Silent Hill that’s really fun that little kids who are waiting for the Hobbit, can watch. Adelaide Clemens is going to be there and Kit Harington was coming but he’s broken his ankle so isn’t going to be making the journey now. Damn shame for me and the Game of Thrones audience, who I’m sure would love to have seen their ‘John Snow’. The Silent Hill distributors have made up a souvenir Comic-Con only poster for the event which we’ll be giving away – it’s a very cool and striking image. And I’ll be hanging around in the afternoon to sign stuff before heading out to do some more interviews and things.

And now we move onto my personal favorite... formatting an 8gb data stick that it's infected.
Now slowly. Slooowly insert the stick into the port. Wait until you reach the hilt. Give it a nice wiggle if you have to.
Then open up its Window Explorer to expose its context menu. Now, very gently, and quietly, quietly start to format it's hard drive.
This should only take a few minutes. Which is standard. Don't force it if you can't. Your stick must be ready and willing.
And when it's all done and over, pull your stick out, put a cover on it and walk away like nothing happened.

If all goes well, next time you slide your stick in and it will be clean. No viruses, no nothing.

The purpose of the .cue file is ensure that the lossless files (god forbid you should choose to use mp3... >.>) will be burned to disc properly.
The gap settings are written into the .cue file. Without the gap settings, you'll get the silent gaps inbetween track changes.
Now, this obviously is a problem, especially if the music transitions into the succeeding track.
This is greatly appreciated if the music to be is a single-image LOSSLESS file.
However, when a single-image file is split into individual files through any program capable of this mighty feat (and yes, it's a mighty feat because so many programs are made by students doing a project to avoid giving their teachers blowjobs *coughs*MEDIEVAL CUE*cough*) will, in most cases, not create a new cue file in accordance to the split files.
To ensure proper cue files to be written with the split files listed with the gap settings, a proper program is to be used.
