I have a Sony dvd-rw, but it was an OEM, so no software came with it. I use Nero as my burning software, but I don't know if it has such a thing. I'll check after meal. :)

I'm writing a 2-hour pilot episode for a non-existent television show.
I find script form is a little more entertaining for me to write in....besides, I've been complimented on my dialogue....and not so much for the traditional way to write a novel or something like that.
Don't know how long it can go on for.....i've only finished the 1st drafts of the 2 hour pilot and a skeleton outline for the episode that follows.
After that....I don't know.....depends on how rewarding it is, I guess.

they all ready do live (sort of)......it's just i don't really know some of them yet.......2 of them you're not supposed to know all that well yet, i'm just tossing and turning as whether or not I should create a backstory for them for my purposes only, or just continue with the way it is.
My first rough draft is always done with pen and paper...it just seems more organic that way....and now I'm typing up the 2hr pilot as a 2nd draft on my computer and plan polish it up a bit while i'm doing it.......when it's typed up, i'll get someone to read it over.....critique it a bit and then carry on with the rest.

y'now....alot of these comic book writers are fun to read on the colorful pages, but they try to write for the screen, they absolutely suck.
Jack Kirby and Todd McFarlane are the first to come to mind.
However Whedon comic alumni Drew Goddard & "Y: The Last Man"'s Brain K. Vaughan have been very successful on Cloverfield & LOST.

It's rare for mediums to translate successfully to another kind. Quite often films based on novels pale compared to the actual novel. Kubrick managed it, and Polanski, but those guys were masters of their art.
I read a short paragraph about that film just yesterday. First I'd heard of it. Raimi springs to mind, because of the cabin. Hope it's good.

it's not that it's rare...there are many good adaptations.....for the most part, there hardly ever advertised as adaptations though......
so let's be honest, when it comes to comics most of it's material isn't all that great to begin with.
you filter out most of the shit that's been written for Spidey over the years you'll probably be left with 25% of it that's actually good....same with Battyboy.

I saw Haninal at the theatre, and I wanted my money back. It sucked. Ridley doesn't make good movies anymore. He peaked with Alien and Blade Runner. I haven't saw red Dragon, and I didn't even know the one that doesn't exist even existed. Silence is good. Jodie is amazing in it.
