Art is semi retired now and the new hosts are awful.

I think I've heard of Art Bell......these radio hosts and newscasters all seem to have similiar sounding names though. Well, not really similiar sounding, but mostly dry names.

Yeah Art Bell is pretty famous. It's the most popular syndicated talk show on at night. Lots of AM stations carry it. Starts at 10 PM goes through 'til 2 A.M.
Art has had loads of really interesting guests over the years.

It surprised the hell out of me.
The movie is just great fun and Willem Dafoe (from 'The Boondock Saints', 'Spider-man 1, and 'Platoon') is fantastic.

I'd really like to see a few more movie where he's given more spotlight.
Poor guy is like Ron Pearlmen; great actor that doesn't get near the respect he deserves.

It is a really big surprise, I was thinking it would either totally or be one of those 'dollar theater' movies, it wasn't.

Mostly because the two main people in the previews, Ethan Hawke & Sam Neill, are not my favorite actors.


All the actors were at their best.
From the extras who pretty much just stand around, and sometimes go nuts.
To the 'monsters' who go killing, at times for scares.
To the main cast that holds the story and movie form scene to scene.
To the random extras whose job it is to get killed.
Everyone did their part.

I used to have Real Player, it had a plug-in that could do it, but the update stopped it working with firefox. I know there are add ons that enable firefox to do it but I've found them unreliable, and the sound always ends up like shit. I was hoping someone on here could. Watch it if you have 4 and 1/2 minutes spare. It's good.

You could DL 'firefox', get the 'download helper' add-on and save the vid in FLV format.

After that find a copy of "Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate" (it's easy to find hacked versions) and convert it to w/e you want.

I've had a few of the download as flash add ons over this past year, but the sound always comes out wrong, kind of warbled and tinny. I'm not sure if I tried the 'download helper' one. I'll check it out. Thanks tanis. :)

It's a rockin' tabbed browser and bookmarks can be saved much easier than Firefox.

I'd miss my "colour tabs" plug in, gives me a different colour for each tab. And you can set the shrine to always be the same colour, etc. it's the plug-ins that make firefox good for me. I've not tried Opera, so don't know if it has any. Does it?

You know you can back up your bookmarks as an html document? Put it on a mem stick so if the worst happens your PC you don't lose all the precious blogs etc. Plus you can take them with you if you go to a friends.

ok. The reason why I ask is I downloaded it and it is in the MP4 format, so I wouldn't have to reformat.

I found a freeware programme that converts mp4 to AVI. Pazera Free MP3 to AVI. So if you just put it to MU or wherever you prefer, I can do that conversion bit. Save you some trouble.

I use "Free Video Converter" and it's already halfway done, this program is fast and no problem for me to do.
I prefer .Avi format myself, so I guess that's what ya get. ;)
I've had some problems with MU dropping my files lately so prolly use something else.
