The Time Traveler's Wife - nice fantasy-romance
The Goods - eh
District 9 - the camera work made me feel sick. It was all right, though.

In other words, if you're going to see "District 9", take either an airsick/carsick baggie or a friend to throw up on. XD

And my hands are so cold right now that I just grabbed my cup o' tea (which has ice in it) and it felt warm. >.<

I'm kind of tired of "documentary" style filmmaking...after the first half hour or so, it's like, I get it. It's supposed to be realistic. It's especially nauseating when you sit really close to the screen; it was opening day and the movie was packed so I had no choice. There was some good stuff in it, but honestly after 3 movies I was pretty tired and just wanted it to end.

And yes, I imagine it must be cold on your end somewhere in the Arctic.

*sigh* It was the same thing with the movie "Cloverfield". My brother's girlfriend ended up throwing up on him and I had my camera so I guess it was worth it in the end. Sadly, it was a disposable camera so it ended up not making it home that day for some reason...

Yeah, I sat through three movies. You think I have enough money to pay for three separate movie tickets? I'm an unemployed bum now.

Cloverfield did it and movies like Diary of the Dead and Quarantine, among many others. It translates much better on the small screen, I think. If the movie is entertaining enough you don't notice it as much, but when the movie drags on (District 9 was 2 hours), it starts feeling a little strained.

Well, here's to the movie producers not making them 3D movies *raises glass*. That would have been cruel.
