It's hard to get the eyes right on toys. Even the figuart doesn't look super great. They're like behind a piece of translucent plastic.

The vinyl looks like just a solid piece of red for the face. Lame.

Steam is soon to be up and running on PS3 which will let PS3 gamers play against and with PC gamers on Portal 2. And if you buy Portal 2 on PS3 you get to D/L the game free on PC or Mac.

I was really surprised by how much I loved The King's Speech. Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush were great and I really liked how so many off the shots were framed off-center. Just made it really neat to look at and it seemed really modern, for a period film. Always nice to be surprised by Oscar movies!

I just finished a truly terrible movie.

"Shrooms"....a horror flick......it had no idea what it was doing.

I almost always turn off movies if it's that terrible, unless it's horror. For some reason I just can't tear away from it.

I'd quite like to get back on the early hours again and a regular mon to fri.

but business has been so slow, even more than it is usually at this time of year, and we had to let people go.

So that means there's lots of wide open spaces in the schedule that need to be picked up, so I can't do the 8-5 shifts that I used to have. :(

You know one thing that they aren't taking into account and that I had just recently realized? There's a lot of movies to see. I mean a huge amount of a lot.
You could see a movie everyday without re-watching anyone and it take years to go through all the popular ones, not to mention the lower key ones only a few know about. Isn't it kinda mind bottling that in 50 years it'll be almost impossible for anyone to see every essential movie? You could have never seen what could possibly be the greatest film for you ever simply because you gotta start somewhere and quit at some point.

That makes me think of the courtyard in Let The Right One In.
