I've no idea how to navigate that site to find anything of use. Maybe a few pointers?

Try it now. Forgot to include a portion of the url! It should work now. Just click on the book you want and you can read it on the site or save it to your computer

I wonder how old that site is. It has books in .lit and .rtf formats LOL! And the dreaded .pdf, of course.

I'm not sure who, but I do recall someone saying earlier that they need the Aztecs DVD. Disk 1 of the Special Edition was uploaded on ..... 20 minutes ago.I LOVE THAT TRACKER! Unfortunately they barred my ass (my connection is a 'not allowed' dual-ISP). Disc one is nicely remastered. The previously unreleased material is on disc two.

"dark4eyes Is that the one with Medic VIII that got animated? Or an audiobook mainly narrated by Scarf? Or something different? I ask because it's been done in multiple formats" Sorry, I haven't listened to it yet I'm SO far behind right now> I just made new links and posted it here and to my AB group. I'm thinking it's 4th medic though. It's labeled as "The Lost Douglas Adams Episode - written by Gareth Roberts. I don't know how to post pix here so I can't show you the cover.I use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/photobucket-uploader/reviews/?page=2
http://i1064.photobucket.com/albums/u376/burn3eggroll/gather4/th_dw-books-shada-hp3_zps3eb4435d.jpgclick the thumbnail (http://s1064.beta.photobucket.com/user/burn3eggroll/media/gather4/dw-books-shada-hp3_zps3eb4435d.jpg.html)
Does such thing like medic's bibliography, official or unofficial, exist anywhere? I mean not a site like tardis.wikia but a single document/page, kind of checklist? It's everywhere, every when, in time & space. Except it won't fit on one page of paper. You are looking for 1450+ official episodes and story versions. Doctor Who Reference Guide (http://www.drwhoguide.com/who.htm) You might also likeDoctor Who: A Brief History of Time (Travel) (http://www.shannonsullivan.com/drwho/) Now that I think about it, your answer is no. Too many unofficial productions.
I wonder how old that site is. It has books in .lit and .rtf formats LOL! And the dreaded .pdf, of course.it's definitely 20th century. Site is written in HTML 3.2 (1997).

If you have i have!

I haven't received a notice, I'm just looking to avoid one

Most of the regulars know me on here- so I just wanted to share some observations from a few years of being on different sites and previously being active in the sharing game

For places like FFS (and other such places) every 12 -18 months certain companies seem to have a bit of a purge against people that are prominent in passing on their wares- things go a bit quiet, but eventually they build back up to previous levels. There is always someone out there willing to pick up the banner. As long as the people who are warned dont take the p/ss once they have received their warnings, they ARE left alone.
Its a vicious circle, almost a game- people will always find ways to share, for whatever reason. Companies will always want to protect their product. We kid ourselves that we have valid reasons for doing what we do- but the truth is some of us cant afford them so are happy for freebies, some of us are just tight & wont pay, some like the buzz of being known as a supplier

Be careful if you are breaching copyright- dont lie to yourself- it is illegal. Set up an email address that is used just for memberships of such sites- you dont have to use real/true details to set up most emails
you different user names on different sites
dont give out your personal details, even through PM's, even if you have built up a long term, online relationship with that person- unless you know that they have a long standing history of file sharing - they run the same risk as you
use proxy servers where you can - learn how to hide your true IP address - Google will give you all this info for free

just my thoughts, I hope it means something to some of you out there- have fun & play safe

wall1885

Off topic, but does anyone have the complete Comic Relief 2013 sketch?....I believe it starts with the One Born Every Minute narrated intro, then goes into the bit with Miranda/Call the Midwife before Matt rocks up.
Some of the bits (in really rough quality) are up on youtube, but I'd like to get the whole thing, hopefully in relatively decent quality.

Dear friends...
After my post regarding the way I keep this site to myself, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to either post, or pm me links to the following Massive Ending stories? I have a number of major gaps, and don't expect to be granted every request, but 149, 150, 157, 159, 160 165,166, and 167 are gaps! ANY help would be appricated!
Thank you in advance if anyone can help!
"May the force be with you" [oopps... wrong franchise!] :)

A heartflet thank you to the two memebers who shall remain nameless who very kindly helped me fill the gaps in by collection. Sorta gives me hope for humanity when such generosity is shown!
Thank you! :)

two options - do a search on your computer for the file name
attempt to start the download again and when the 'save' box comes up, look at where it is trying to send it to

it may also be in your 'downloads' folder on your computer - that is the default save destination

One-hour television drama pilot based on the original U.K. series

Actress Madeleine Mantock, whose main credit is British medical series Casualty, will play Astrid, loyal, classically beautiful and effortlessly cool, who is secretly in love with Stephen Jameson (Robbie Amell), with whom she's been friends since they were toddlers. She is concerned about Stephen and worries that he's stopped taking his medication.

Co-starring; Mad Men's Peyton List, Aussie soap star Luke Mitchell, Mark Pellegrino as Dr. Jedikiah Price, and Aaron Yoo as resident bad boy, Russell. Political Animals' Phil Klemmer will write and executive produce, with Greg Berlanti, Julie Plec and Danny Cannon, who will direct. Melissa Kellner Berman will co-executive produce. Warner Bros. TV, Berlanti Productions and FermantleMedia produce.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2660734/

The remake pilot will be shooting in New York City very soon. Its hoping for a spot on The CWs Fall 2013 schedule, which will be announced in May.

One-hour television drama pilot based on the original U.K. series
....

TP2013 ...

On one hand ... we're looking at an older cast than than the original which should, I really hope, improve the acting a heck of a lot.

On the other ... an older cast sort of smacks of Heroes/Alphas/Smallville (to a degree) and possibly moves away from the original premise.

Hmm .... not entirely sure what to make of all that. Will just have to wait and see, I suppose.

They had better retain TIM and the Galactic Trig, etc, etc, and the iconic theme music.

You know, it suddenly occurred to me, I'm curious what Steve Coogan would be like as the medic.
Or even better yet. -- How about Julian Barratt?

Julian Barratt definitely :)
steve coogan would be worse than 6's coat and bonnie for me. I'd never watch the show again!

Same here. Well, that's a fib, I'd still watch it but feel unclean afterwards. Can't stand Coogan.

Izzzard would be perfect if they redid The Daleks movies (and managed to do The Chase) this time.

Doctor's Wife was OK, but I've found most of Gaiman's stuff really unimpressive. American Gods was a pile of poo.

I haven't read or seen much of Gaiman, but I think he's pretty good. I read both Neverwhere (which is pretty awesome, I recommend reading it (and listening to the radio version!)) and Good Omens (with Terry Prachett), which were both enjoyable reads. Coraline, the movie, I also enjoyed.

I'll admit that the Doctor's Wife had issues, but I thought the story itself was pretty good and ranked in the better episodes of S6.

My opinion though : )

On a side note, what does every think of the Doctor's newest TV companion, Clara? Saw an article on Den of Geek, which explained that, when River comes back, there will be an "interesting" love triangle, which I am very opposed to. Just curious what everyone's reaction has been so far of Clara.

I'm afraid I'm with Stinkor on Neil Gaiman. I've always found him very slick and polished, but there's almost nothing original in anything he writes. He's very clever and very knowledgeable, he knows how to play to the crowd, how to co-opt historical figures, elements of horror and mythology and re-buff them for a modern audience and he knows how to make a story work. Technically speaking, there's very little to complain about. But I'm never convinced that he's writing from the heart - not that you need that, necessarily, but I always feel there's something airless and a little too measured and practiced about the way he puts it all together. Even The Doctor's Wife 'borrowed' a lot of concepts from other, less well-known writers - there was a lot of Lawrence Miles in that script - not enough to make it an issue of plagiarism or anything but enough that you knew he'd hoovered up a lot of ephemeral Who-related ideas over the years and repurposed them for his story. I've yet to read or see anything ever from his pen that's made me go, "OK, I get it," unlike almost every other writer or storyteller I've not been sure about. And yes, I read Sandman back in the day. Happy to be proved wrong but somehow in his case I don't think it'll happen. That said, his episode of series 6 was one of the better ones (not difficult, but I far preferred the likes of 'The Girl Who Waited' and 'The God Complex') and I'm hoping he gives us a decent Cyberman story. I've little doubt that it'll be a crowd-pleaser.

On a side note, what does every think of the Doctor's newest TV companion, Clara? Saw an article on Den of Geek, which explained that, when River comes back, there will be an "interesting" love triangle, which I am very opposed to. Just curious what everyone's reaction has been so far of Clara.

Clara is great. I rewatched Asylum of the Daleks yesterday and her performance is very assured and confident and yet hugely likeable. She's got something of a classic companion about her and I like it.

Bulletzen

Hmmm.
I've always quite liked Gaiman as a writer. I remember first reading his work in an issue of Hellblazer. Since then I've read The Sandman, Black Orchid, Violent Cases as well as his novels and short stories. As has been said he isn't very original, but I think too many people in the past have slated him relying too much on his knowledge of folklore/mythology. I think that's his strength to be honest. He tells a story that many of us may all already know due to familiarity with the mythology, be that a fairytale or the history of a series like Doctor Who, but he has a canny knack of putting his own personal twist to it. Often with pleasing results. His prose has always been easy to read and ultimately quick to entertain and surely that's the most important aspect a writer can bring to the table. To entertain.

Tweeted Nick Briggs about the possibility of a scarfed Medic audio with the silver men. He said he can't say if it's planned or not. Oh well. I tried. XD

Great share Tomoph, Just one thing, the first link leads you to 1990 (2) not 1991 (1). Thanks for this stuff though, I'm really enjoying the nostalgia :)

Thanks Tomoph. The other 91' links are correct, first should be issues 169-173.

I'd definitely love a scarfed Medic audio story with the silver men. Someone should get Nick Briggs in on this! In fact, I may Tweet and ask him sometime. :)

Or maybe he could let one of their many OTHER talented writers have a go for once...

I haven't noticed anything about the spin-off featured in this free magazine. Was it no good?

Man, Nicola Bryant is still a fox. :)

So who's left for TB to do audios with? Just Leela?

Neither 7 nor 10 has ever been seen here.

Well, given that he's essentially LC's showrunner and the Scarfed Medic's audio adventures are pretty much his baby, I figured Briggs would be the most logical one to ask. Pardon the pun. But I do understand what you mean. Hmm. It makes me wonder how the silver men would be in the hands of Jonathan Morris. I felt he handled the pepperpots pretty well in 2012's monthly "The Cruise of Dave". :)

Well there's also Richard Franklin. And, hopefully, TB and Lalla Ward would be prepared to work together again.

Otherwise BF will have to make a new companion for him.

Maybe you should volunteer to mediate the first meeting between them! I get the strong impression that Lalla Ward really isn't the forgiving and forgetting type.

And Adric if Matthew Waterboat wishes to do them... But do we want him to?
